Swear to God me and brother and sister to this day call each other "you lil niglets"
But I think when old buddy turned into the devil scared the shyt out of me
lil homie was like "BLAST HEEEEEEM!!!"
Both were really fun movies but I enjoyed Demon Knight more.
I like demon knight but tales from the hood is the shyt with a great soundtrack

Both are low key cult-classics....but I gotta go with Demon Knight. shyt is perfect. It's played JUST campy enough without losing the actual horror/drama elements.
I also really still like some of the effects. Those creatures are truly demonic.
The mythology is actually really unique and interesting as well. That shyt with the key, and the blood of jesus....I like it when my genre films go through the trouble of actually explaining the threat and stakes in a larger context like that.
Also, that cast....
Billy Zane, Jada, William Sadley, CCH Pounder...all the others held it down as well.

Anyone ever seen this joint? It's pretty bad, but might suffice as a tit-flick if you're into that.
The key/vial from the first film actually shows up in this though.
Franchise died before they ever made a third one...but just think...we almost got a Tales From The Crypt Cinematic Universe....

They made a third one. Tales From The Crypt Ritual. That shyt was terrible

not even Mr Cryptkeeper's appearance /intro can save that crap..
Tales from the Hood had genuine creepy/scary moments plus the film is well made..
