When ppl say this; what do ya'll mean?

A music genre that perpetuates the reality of living in America--usually as a black man.

We don't even have all the details yet, but, another "the culture" comes into question.

It was a private Halloween party and ppl have issues with dice--which is some party shyt.

I've seen ppl (family) mad over Monopoly. I done got hot over Uno with my cousins.

This convo is polarizing because it's so extreme.

is it not obvious? this genre for the most part glorifies violence, hustling and hood shyt. and there's a lot of impressionable people who think that these tales heard on songs are what they should be doing.

Everytime a rapper dies. We get the same bozos saying the same shyt. Regardless of the circumstances. I fukkin hate this site now. I think I’m bout to dead ass stop posting here.
Nikkas that announce their exit like you do every week usually don't go anywhere and just want the attention that comes with acting out and being melodramatic

It's like when kids stomp around the house saying they're gonna run away from home

It so strange that rappers like Quavo who is probably worth 25-50 million net worth is playing dice games for chump change and still catching feelings when they lose. You could literally wipe your ass with $7K and you still want to get offended when someone talks shyt at a dice game, when talking shyt is the norm in that environment smh
If he's worth that much Drake prolly worth like 500 million, these rappers arent as rich as people think they're

Sorry to hear about your lost and glad your taking it one day at a time. The most valuable thing human beings can lose is other humans. Loss contributes to spiritual growth and understanding even though it can be an excruciating process. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. May god bless you and put the right energy around you while you go through your process of grieving.

Thank You Brotha. I know my faith is the only thing keeping me alive. I pray we all find peace and love as we journey through this thing called life together.

Playing ball in the hood is alot different than taking someone's money and then either not paying them or what have you. That's not showing "love"

He could've bought the bar to show "love"
I feel you. But shyt I'm afraid to buy the bar at spots in Queens. Cause if I did that "...then out comes the hood". And I'm not talking about blocks.

My point is, TMZ isn't going to go out of their way to acknowledge Country artists of that equivalent. If you aren't a part of that academy, you don't exist to them. It isn't going to drive the news cycle like them covering a rapper or a Pop star (even those with minor hits) would.
again, it absolutely would if they are of the same stature as the men i listed, TMZ reports on anything. secondly, you seem to be zeroed in on country when i only used that because it's a majority white genre like rap is majority black...clearly the bigger point is white artists [of any genre] from impoverished backgrounds are not fukking dying because of some unrelenting will to go back to those areas.

You know
Maybe but not Takeoff individually.

The point is if you a late millennial or Gen Z if you a fan of hip hop in the last handful of years those guys were huge.
I’ll say it again. None of those guys was as popular as migos. Fact!

That "Mob Ties" shyt is a variation of LA "Check In". RIP Takeoff
Which makes it worse, because the Migos checked in, and the Mob Ties still allowed this to happen. It would seem not pulling out a gun on World Wide Celebrities that have "Mob Ties" would be common sense.

But of course mixing anything with Alcohol is asking for trouble

Of course you hating ass suburban dweeb gotta make this a racial:mjpls: talking points discussion
Not to derail but the problem with people always invoking "talking points" rehetoric is it's turned into a release valve for accountability or discussion. It's used as a blunt pejorative as opposed to actually addressing anything.

There are people on here that come from some of the worst cities/hoods in America (I can't be the only one) and seen shyt like this happen ALL the time. You would have a point if you actually addressed this situation with good faith instead of a blanket dismissal of it all because nikkas are saying some shyt that makes you uncomfortable.

You would also have more of a point of this wasn't a COMMON occurrence at dice games. This ain't some freak accident ":ohhh: oh wow. DAAAAMN bruh" situation

If anybody is acting suburban it's the nikkas acting surprised that a hood dice game at 4am ended in a fight and a fatal shooting. The dollar amount ain't even relevant this exact same situation has happened over FAR less

I've said it before but black folks can blame everybody under the sun for shyt, and that blame is warranted definitely, but the second it's time to address our own shyt that we can deal with and fix nikkas come out the wood work with the blame shifting and fake moralizing

We love to stick our heads in the sand during times like these, maybe throw out a quick generic":wow:we gotta do better y'all" but when the coast is clear we go right back to playing
