:dwillhuh:Here's a thought:

Why don't 2K just make a NBA game where you can just spend 20 dollars a year just for the update and additional features to go along with the micro-transaction bullshyt:beli:. That way they can still fukk the customer but gently. I'm not understanding this whole 60 dollars for the game +pay for fake money for stats and unneeded shyt+ collectors edition bullshyt= :umad:Pay us fukk you mentality.

If I'm paying $60 for a fukking game plus DLC the other shyt better be free muthafukka... :mindblown: Didn't y'all make Billions off of JUST Grand Theft Auto 5?!?!

I expect the next GTA to have a huge dip in quality. The single player mode will probably be short and they will have microtransactions for everything. I bet the pre-order bonuses will be very :scust:

And that's why they are doing it. Because they see how much bread they cake off of GTA.

Sad part is the alternative is EA :laff:

Grinding in 2k is the whole point. That's where the fun is... getting sliiiiightly better every game till you get off the bench and become a starter... then getting sliiiiiiightly better every game after that till you start getting some credibility in the league, then continuing to get sliiiiiiiightly better till the end of your rookie season etc....

Who out here paying for VC anyway?

Video games are basically the cheapest, and best, form of entertainment (even with $20 of extra DLC).

Game + DLC = $80. With over 30 hours of playtime, it's $2.66 per hour.
Movie: $10. With 3 hours of viewing, it's $3.33 per hour
Book: $20. With 5 hours of reading, it's $4 per hour

Basically, even with DLC, gaming provides the biggest bang for your buck :manny:
When you purchase DLC you’re buying additional content not included in the baseline product that supplements the experience. DLC is fine.

2K is hamstringing the games in-game progression system in order to motivate players to circumvent the process through the purchase of a fake currency. That is NOT DLC.

I will gladly pay $70 sticker price for the game if it means they’re profiting enough to roll back all this microtransaction bullshyt.
