waste of money....the scandal is horrific, but I feel like some people are pressing the issue for their own sake, duke is dead
So if someone had a statue of Hitler it's cool just b/c he's dead?
This argument does not work.
Joe Paterno was not directly responsible to what happened to those poor kids. Hitler was directly responsible for the deaths of millions and millions of jews.
If it was a statue of sandusky then the argument works. I say remove the statue though.

I didnt even say there was an issue with removing the statue, it probably should be removed for many reasons...just saying the outrage over a statue is gettin out of hand, its a fukkin statue...you pay all that ad money, to threaten school officials, knowing damn well if you carry out on that threat, youre getting charged with a felony count of vandalism....
