The show is actually good lol

Lawrence is a well written character in my opinion.

He was faithful, graduated from college, and was down and depressed cause he wasn’t where he wanted to be in life. He wanted his “dream job” like most of and was unemployed for a bit. He still loved and cared for Issa.

Like another poster said he went ahead and took the best buy job cause Issa pushed him to and she still cheated on him lol.

He broke up with her and played the field like a single man should’ve. Don’t get me wrong he fukked over ol girl he smashed they was bad a shyt but he was still hurting from the shyt with Issa

I mean, yes, Lawrence had a lot of potential, but only when he realized he was on his own. Issae cared for him, but he was being a bum in season 1. Gotta admit that. The show tried to be slick and be like "Well, if Lawrence was more of a MAN, your girlfriend wouldn't had cheated" but I didn't buy that for a second. Issae had the right to get mad, but what she did was foul.

I always ask women that question and they have so many excuses. But when you simply ask why she didn't just leave him instead of cheating they get quiet. Anytime a woman or man starts a conversation with "I feel" just know their emotions are overriding their logic and disregard whatever they are about to say.
