Happy! is quality tv. Happy! is to Syfy as Mr. Robot is to USA network... two networks which have no business putting shows out that good.

It's so out there, but it feels like all that shyt isn't shock value or random, it's their world. It has purpose.

Contrast the way the Central Park orgy was handled in The Magician's.

Happy! would have killed those scenes.

Only two episodes left? Damn. I could watch 8 seasons of that shyt, as long as Meloni stars. It's the darkest of dark humor.

The way the garage scene was handled ... piff.

The confessional scene ... small, tight, piff.

The crazy Italian broads... the setting...

Happy is cool and all, but The Magicians definitely isn't afraid to embrace the magical fukkery. All the stuff with Fillory, especially with Margo/Elliot. They are really different shows, so I wouldn't compare them.

The stuff with the demented imaginary friends was good this past episode.

Ep 7 was great and nuts.

Though I do feel that 8 eps is way too long for the story it's telling. They could have told the same story in 4 eps and not lost any impact IMO. Just feels a bit stretched thin, But this ep was dope.

Hopefully the finale is as well.
