^^^ u can say that for about 80% of the roster
I expect more people not being renewed in 2022. A lot of the original AEW contracts were 3 year deals.
Was that in Dark? Don't remember it.
I wonder if the Crohn's Disease had anything to do with her coming to this decision or if it is just that she wants to do something else professionally?
You can already see it happening. Guys like Kip Sabian, Sonny Kiss and Joey Janella haven't been on TV in a long time. AEW needs to trim the roster. I'm sure a lot of these guys will probably return on per appearance deals to wrestle on Dark/Elevation every so often, but no need to keep them under contract.

I'm happy that Swole is leaving on her own terms, and I hope that her decision isn't health related.
One great thing is that she has built a pretty strong brand outside of AEW, and she probably has quite a few career options on the table.
I know she has some indy dates lined up, but once those are over, I need Swole & Faye Jackson to get a podcast crackin'.
They're incredible follows on Twitter. We were talking about a black wrestling company getting mainstream attention (Chris Bey tweeted this) and they should definitely be involved somehow.
