So this shyt is PS4 power but modern architecture/CPU. It's kinda of hard to understand what ports this console will receive, I guess last gen and cross gen. I think had this released even in 2022, or even 2023 it would've been great, especially when PS5/xsx was just getting suped up ps4 games

I agree having this back in 2023 with TOTK as a launch title would have been a perfect time for them to bring it out.
I can only guess it has to do with the hardware of the new switch that they waited out for another 2 years.

Good battery life and a good display is all that really matters. Nintendo games are about accessibility and gameplay first and foremost. They have good developers that can make beautiful stylized graphics and are not focused on making realistic looking games.
