The poster I quoted was arguing against the idea of quadroons. He thinks your race is whatever your father was.. According to him drake is not mixed, he's black because his father is black. And since the race of the child is determined by the father, then drake's son is also black.

By his logic a white passing mixed child with a black father is more black than a darker skinned mixed child with a black mother.

Take it a step further. This isn’t about wanting a black baby. Or lamenting the babies phenotypical proximity to whiteness.

This is about early childhood “rejection” by top 10 percent of the black community, and using a mixed baby to get the attention she missed growing up. She wants to be a conversation starter.
