Wwe/AEW puts on tv shows and this how I look at films

1. That was good and I loved it
2. That was good for what it was but I’m not a fan
3. That shyt was horrible and it’s bad
4. That shyt was horrible but I loved it

Charlotte and Tiffany on Friday was 4 for me

I say it was horrible but idgaf I loved it and posters don’t know how to respond.

I point out something shytty on this show and you see a bunch of “actually you’re wrong and here’s why…” “actually it was just the main event that was bad” like STFU lol

I agree with your tiffany/charlotte stance. shyt was terrible…..but fresh and unique. I’ve watched that more than any other segment the past week lol

There were way too many unnecessary matches man. After the first couple of matches I was losing interest but I paid 50 bucks for that shyt so I was gonna stay the course. The triple threat match woke me up, so I assumed that the main event was going to deliver.

Sad thing about this is many people were talking about how they missed the YBs on Twitter...and this is how you bring them back? 5/10 show tops

I agree with this. There were too many matches for this particular show and even some of the matches that were good (like the Owen matches) could have been saved for 'Dynamite' or 'Collision'

If I was putting the card together, I'd maybe have left the Knight/Ospreay match on here because it was Knight's first real opportunity with one of the top talents and then I'd have the women's title match, the triple threat match and Swerve/Mox...

It'd have been a 5-6 match show.

Because too many big shows are packed together. Both companies been doing this a lot. 'Revolution' felt like a bigger deal to me, most of the matches on that card were legit PPV worthy with build behind it.

They are running 'Double or Nothing' next month so it feels like some shyt was saved for that...

Good point, people can't see past the main event though... that's par for the course in wrestling circles. Every match can deliver but if the main event sucks then everything sucked. That's how wrestling fans are conditioned.

I dunno, a 5 hour show that completely shyts the bed at the end seems like a reasonable thing for people to be deflated about and is always going to hurt the overall opinion of the show. You can't do a show that long and end it with a bad match with a bad ending that no one wanted. There's a difference in telling the story and just shytting the bed.

Now, I don't think you should be that weird guy in the youtube vid cutting promos on Tony Khan with the rage of a 17 year old incel. There's so much rad shyt going on in AEW at any given time it's too hard to get too mad about the main event program being trash, but that's the last part of the show that should be trash.

I agree, that's why I framed my post the way I did. I think it's both fair to shyt on them for the main event but also fine if you want to say 3-4 matches were excellent.
