This is essentially the young boomer/elder gen x'er beefing with his young millennial counterpart. Trying to hold up either Booker or Swerve as some paragon of problackness seems like a losing effort. Both guys are exceptionally talented professionals wrestlers who perform problackness when beneficial and are willing to compromise their values if the check/benefits are great enough.
FINALLY, somebody put it as clearly and concisely as possible.

When I say wrestling appeals to really dumb people, that doesn’t imply everyone who likes wrestling is really dumb lol.. I think that’s the disconnect we’re having. There’s absolute normal people in every fanbase, including this one.. and then there’s nikkas who are complete retards. Not everyone who does coke is a crackhead, but every crackhead is on coke.

- Keep the blacks as cannon fodder or a "here nikka damn"
- Focus on white bland mediocrity (his favorites)
- Suck the soul out of something that seems of color (Bloodline, Jade, and most of the NXT call ups)
- Scorch earth vengeance (punish, demote, or let go of Vince's favorites, and unHicklebottom the NXT 2.0 in favor for NXT Black and Gold pushes)

Funny thing is that Vince's final acts were creating 2 mainstream appeal stars in Roman & Bianca, while HHH has decided that wrestlers with mainstream appeal isn't really important.

I think I'm probably older than y'all so I remember when wrestling fans weren't "neckbeards", but were regular ass people.
The problem with wrestling fandom now is that there's too many nerds in it, but back in the day all those asperger ass nikkaz used to be obsessed with comic books & Star Wars & Star Trek
There was even this funny ass SNL skit back in the day with William Shatner making fun of how wretched Star Trek fans were

This is where y'all let feelings get in the way of logic. Vince was the one that signed off on the Roman heel turn, and the SummerSlam squash doesn't negate the fact that she was the biggest female star at the time. We all said that the squash was fukking stupid, but her entire push was due to Vince putting the WWE machine behind her.
