Yeah it was a wack way to end the show but I'm sure 6 months ago when they wrapped shooting, they didn't realize they were shooting a final season.
They definitely deserved a better shot. But I'll be following the cast going forward. Especially my Boo Teyonah.

Alison grew on me this season but still didn't surpass Missy in my book. Sucks to be her tho. They just started giving her character some flesh.
Cam voice was always annoying to me and he was my least favorite character.
But his speech at Uncle Jules funeral brought me to tears as I have uncles living and deceased that I've had the same relationship with.
Tchina Arnold gave as good a performance this season as Maggie Gylenhall is giving on the Deuce. Tchina deserves something, but you'll never hear Oscar talk.
I wanted to see what was going to happen between Reggie and his Pops.

Speculation:
Alison and Cam don't get married. Now. She walks away and breaks Cam's heart and he does the "baller/playa with no feelings" thing for several years. They reconnect years later after Cam is black balled out of the league prematurely for raising a fist during the national anthem before a game.
Cam isn't rocking with her at first for choosing her career over him, but she proves herself in a similar fashion to what she did at the hotel this season with her cousin and all that (I was like you marry a shorty that goes all out like that before Cam mentioned it at the end of the ep).
Cam and Reggie fall out over the deal. They part ways over it and the deal ends up a success. With the connections he's been making and the money from the deal Reggie blows up on some "Rich Paul" shyt. His client list grows like crazy. But when the entire league turns their back on Cam for his protest, Reggie is advised to do the same. He doesn't and he and Cam reunite. Reggie's business suffers.
Chen and Cassie's relationship is tested when Cam's pops is released. Chen breaks up with her out of insecurity before Isaiah hits it. Then Isaiah while consoling a devastated Cassie does hit it for real.
M-Chuck finds out her mom and Uncle Jules were behind the trigger when the guys who raped Cassie got killed. She also marries some chick and carries a baby for them thru artificial insemination.
Reggie and his dad reconcile and then dad starts hitting the bottle again.
