I think it was dumb to sue the theater over what someone else did but for the jury to agree to make the survivors pay the theater's legal fees is messed up. smh

I empathize with their loss but the theater shouldn't be liable in my opinion and they rightly lost the lawsuit and As a result they have to pay the legal fees.

While I agree with the ruling, there's a certain irony in reading about a theater needing money to cover anything in consideration of how much it costs to enjoy the cinematic experience in 2016. Went and saw Don't Breathe on Tuesday. Ticket was like $13, got some chicken tenders and a large drink for like $13. Damn near a $30 experience In hindsight I should have looked for a torrent and cooked my own chicken.

They make no money on ticket sales as far as I know. That is why your chicken tenders and drinks were 13 dollars in the first place.

I hate to side with a major company in one of these rulings, but this is what these people get for being greedy. The theater itself isn't the reason Holmes shot the place up and nothing was gonna prevent it unless everybody was psychic.

$150,000 is a lot of money to turn down.
