Spencer has very little in the way of a social game. His "relationship" with Tony is one of circumstance. He could have been gone in place of Jeremiah easily. This isn't a ding to him only but they couldn't even coax Jefra to vote with them.

How are you giving him credit for voting Jefra at the merge? Sincere question as I don't remember it being his plan.

Putting votes on Woo means nothing. What about the vote where they all voted Tony anyway and nothing came of it. This point feels made up to give him credit.

3 couldn't happen at all without Tasha. Whether or not they (Tasha and Spencer) talked and it wasn't aired is one thing to consider but Tony suspected an all girl alliance from Tasha chilling with them in the water for extended periods of time before Spencer said something. He also used Jefra but Tony already knew she wasn't worth 2 cents.

Playing his idol like a dummy, his overall shyt demeanor, one funky immunity win etc., he's a shyt player whose make 0 power moves. I can't give credit for trying
Yes his relationship with Tony is one of circumstance, but how many players have we've seen in his position put in no effort to change the game up just to be voted out? Spencer is constantly working Tony and other angles. He was also working Kass in Morgan's boot episode while she sat down and did nothing.

They did flip Jefra, but she flipped back. Its hard to convince someone to move from a numbers advantage into a 4 - 4 tie with the chance of drawing rocks. She also didn't think she could beat either Tasha or Spencer at the end. She gave her reasons why flipped back to her alliance in the video below.

He suspected that both Tony and LJ had idols. Not only him, but Kass and Tasha did also, but Sarah was against voting out anyone, but Tony.

He knew there was a chance that Tony had an idol. The safer bet was for Woo. What did you expect him to do in that situation? Not play the idol on himself?

The plan wouldn't have worked without either Tasha or Spencer working together. Tasha had to make the appearance of an all girl's alliance and Spencer had to throw Jefra completely under the buss. They both deserved credit.

@KenyaDoll

Spencer is a shyt player. He did make an observation that I agreed with. Tasha is excellent with respect to the social aspect of the game. She did all of the "work" to give Tony the thought of an all girl alliance. Then when Spencer goes to tell her she gives him all the credit when she asks him "What did you do?".

I reiterate, Spencer is a shyt player in this game. Kass has done more than him. Wu is trash as well.

I don't think he is a shyt player. The only thing that I think he could have done differently was not waste that immunity necklace. It would have been sooooo bold to give it to Jeremiah and vote Wu out. I thought that was a missed opportunity that he had actually contemplated but was too scared to do it (which is kind of understandable).

All this cape work for Spencer shows how terrible he is. I'm not giving him (full) credit for anything.

@GreatestLaker If they flipped Jeffra and she flipped back, that means that they didn't flip her in the first place. Let's not forget that he's voted the way he has because Tony gave him the green light. Tony is using them to further himself. The jury may hate him but he's great to watch.

@KenyaDoll Him misplaying his idol is indicative of his play this whole season. Not much to see. What else has he done in the way of social, strategic and or physical game play?

No one would cop pleas for Wu, Trish, Kass, Jeffra, LJ, Sarah, Morgan or Jeremiah. And Trish and Kass have at least done something. Remember that he and Tasha fouled up heavy by not talk Kass down from the ledge causing her to flip and knock Sarah out which started the domino drops.

Tony is the only one capable of doing anything in this game. I can't stand this idol nonsense but that's the game. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't win with all the work he's done.

Tasha is great but one can only win immunity so many times. That's a difficult game to play and sounds great on paper but that's a no strategy strategy that isn't worth the title.

I'd take Tony way before Tasha and the rest can go into the trash bin.

Like I've said many times before, go old school. No idols, no nonsense. Straight up Survivor.

EW: This immunity challenge — in which the players had to count the number of six different items and then run back and try to remember how many there were of each — totally falls into the looks-so-easy-but-actually-isn’t department. It even seemed like you made them run in an indirect line through flags to give them more time to forget the correct answers. (You sneaky b*stards!) Give me some insight as to how this played out on the scene.

PROBST:
We saw Tony getting really frustrated and Tasha indeed was just off on her bamboo count by one for a really long time. It took forever. It was raining and it was windy so that added to the difficulty of counting the objects. You said it best, Dalton — those challenges always make me nervous because I am worried that they’ll get it too quickly. But they never do. I think a lot of it is pressure…and maybe a very clever challenge team that makes it look easier than it is. I did think Tasha was going to pull it out. She was so close for so long! I could see that she had every number correct except for one, she just didn’t know it!
'Survivor: Cagayan': Jeff Probst breaks down the latest episode | Inside TV | EW.com

She was sooo close. :(

I knew Tasha was toast before tribal council. She got so much air time, Tony had an idol and Trish didn't even get one confessional. Rumor is Survivor 30 is all-stars so we should see her back next year. They can only bring back Cirie so many times.

Prediction - Kass is voted out next. Spencer will throw Kass under the buss like he did Jefra last week and Tony will get rid of her. Spencer or Tony is going to win this season. Trish doesn't get any air time, everyone hates Kass and Woo is seen as a non-player.

Did Tony have a brain fart? Why didn't he just give his idol to Trish and bounce Kass? Also, I'm disgusted by him not being able to solve that puzzle, letting Spencer win and have him still be on this show. LOL at Trish saying that she never argued with anyone. Does she not remember laying into Lindsey? Kass did a decent job and tribal council was jokes. However, she pisses me off saying that everything she does is in the name of strategy. Stop lying ma.

TONY VOTED TRISH OUT. :mindblown:

I was thinking the same thing until I saw how he voted. I'm so confused. They probably had a blow up before tribal.

Trish finding out that Tony voted for her. :dead:

edit

Tony voted Trish out because he wanted her jury vote.

Season 29 is Blood vs Water 2 :blessed:

Great season from start to finish. Easily my favorite Survivor season and I've watched them all.

At the Reunion show they basically confirmed that Tasha will be back. :blessed:

Blood V Water 2 was a lot better than I expected. I would even go so far as to say that I was hella surprised at how much I enjoyed the season. I was apprehensive to a 3 hour block of the final tribals and the reunion but I preferred that to missing it on Sunday like I have for many seasons. They was a lot of exciting things that happened during this season.

The things that I didn't like were:
Them mentioning Missy's divorces ad nauseam. They said it every chance they could.
Missy not being booted out of the game immediately after they determined her ankle to be fractured.
Nadiya & Natalie competing on Survivor after being on The Amazing Race. This isn't the MTV Challenge where they rotate people.
The absence of the traditional burning of the torches and the camp.
The absence of the presentation of the $100.000 for fan favorite.
I also didn't like Jeremy "campaigning" for Natalie at the final tribal council like Spencer for Tony.
I felt that a lot of juries have been squandering their final tribal time. Too many goofy questions that don't make the contestants work for it/ add suspense for them and the viewers.

Blue Collar V. White Collar V. No Collar seems like a spin off of the Cook Islands theme but if it's anything like it, then we'll be in good hands.
