Once the dems have the WH and senate if joe doesn’t go up on stage during the inauguration and say

“we won against all odds, Now it’s time for the Pay back I knew you bytch nikkaz from way back”

Then I’m done with them

Hope you're preparing for that

I wasn’t fukking with progressives at first. Felt they were too radical but not radical enough where it matters for me (black people) but I’m feeling compelled to move to their side of the fence. If Biden and other moderate Democrats are not going to fight back and hold Republicans accountable for all of the criminality and corruption that was committed these last four years, then they serve no purpose and need to gtfo. Seriously. Let AOC and other Bernie style progressives take over since they scared to do sh*t. You can’t cross the aisle or be friends with people who negotiate in bad faith consistently and are purposely trying to fukk over the American people. That’s fukking stupid. If the Democrats know what’s good for them, they better do something when Biden gets in office. If not, people are going to turn away for good until AOC and other progressive Democrats come into power and take over the party. Myself included.

It's crazy... a few years ago.... thought we were seeing the sunset of the republican party. Turns out it might be the dems.

If they don't actually fight back :francis:

Why is this a surprise, the whole Biden campaign was “we have to just jump back to status quo as rapidly as possible and not rock the boat”. This was the mantra that was pushed for in the process of repudiating Sanders who proposed a more aggressive governing approach. And now you have these same actors who rolled out a play it safe strategy with their backs against the wall needing to be aggressive.

This is the tanking era Sixers down 3-0 against the Bad Boy Pistons. Who is going to take over the game for the Dems? They traded away all their star players.

Not quite that. More like a Houston team with stars still not making it to the big dance.

You start to wonder what will make them see the light and change their style of play.

The Rockets literally went hyperagressive on an unpopular style. This is a horrible comparison. Current Dem leadership want to do nothing their way into a title.

Who are these stars for the Dems?

Who are these stars for the Dems?

Warren, Harris, Biden, Sanders, AOC, Yang, Mayor Pete

Now who are the star players that the Dems traded away?

The only people on that list that are stars are Bernie, AOC, and Yang. They have followings amongst the over half of people who don’t normally vote.
Not for me. They may be the only stars based on your criteria. To folks who are closer to the center left they may not be seen as stars, while to the far left they are abosolute superstars. You can't ignore an entire group to fit an agenda. It tried to chose people who cover the spectrum.

Either way, calling any of these politicians stars is kinda silly. Lol@Biden and Mayor Pete being starts though.

Was just using the analogy started in the thread. Granted that stars is an odd word for a politician, though some have had star power. JFK, Obama come to mind.
