Supposedly 2 hours after Thug got out, Drake flew to ATL & gave Thug $1M

I'm not doing the "real niqqa" thing.

We're speaking about a man trying to maintain/regain power and relevance, with issues that spill well outside of jabs thrown in a booth. As ulterior as it is, it's the correct strategy.
Drake is rich enough to retire and still wants to be in the game.

A lot of others have fallen back by now. Look at how casually his peers are taking their time. Aint no reason Wale and Big Sean or so many others just aint out running around right now. Drake loves this shyt.

My only response is that almost every public gesture he has made has backfire in some way. In the realm of risk/reward I don’t see favorable consequences for proving the colonizer angle much re traction.
It has now because someone of equal standing has pointed it out to the people and zeitgeist. But it's been the case for 15 years already and as long as "it slaps"/"don't scare the hoes away keep that Drake on" has been a thing, he's gotten every pass in the book. The fact that he holds credibility post-Quentin Miller says all that needs to be said.

The point if he puts out a banger with Thug and/or Future by Thug bridging the gap, he believes he'll be where he wants to be because the audience has proven it ad nauseum.

Not comparable at all. Drake loves the money/power.

What is thug going to rap about? The condition of his probation makes it where Drake is the only artist, lmao! he can work with. He can’t rap slime shyt, Drake can’t rap mob shyt. Maybe they’ll give us a Christmas carol or a holiday dance joint. I hope so because I miss bopping to bro.

* And if it was just about looking out for your bro after release. Why is it public knowledge? Giving thug a M doesn’t make us believe drake is any “realer” than before the gesture.

And the expectation is that he doesn't act like a groupie with peers.

98% of rap fans are lames by your metric then.
The expectation is that a lame doesn't act like...a lame?

Not sure what metric I used or where you got that number but there are plenty of lames. But there are lames everywhere :manny: shyt Drake is in the majority :heh:

It doesn't matter what Thug raps about.

We're not disagreeing about Drake being fake. It's the reasoning/necessity of it for him. Drake does not care about authenticity.

I already told you what the expectation is. You can interpret how you like.

I got that number based on the metric/description you gave on why Drake is no different than non-famous rap fans. You covered 98% of fans.

You can expect whatever you want. But if your expectations run contrary to whats been demonstrated over and over again you only set yourself up for disappointment.

I dont know the number breh. But I do know plenty exist. Wherever the shoe fits.
