do you know his stats off the dome? what's his reach saying? He looks more trimmed than before, could be good or bad, kovalev is a naturally bulky type guy, very strong. Adonis is pretty physically strong too, then you add in the athletiscism.

That's kind of a step back though breh. Campillo is a former Champion and came in ranked #2 by the IBF and #4 by the WBC...maybe Isaac Chilemba, Lucian Bute, or Juergen Braehmer (Chilemba as the 1st option of course)

Nah, Yvon Michel turned down the fight because he said Chilemba wasn't a good enough opponent for Beterbiev. They were sparring partners, but word is that Beterbiev was giving him that work all the time

After several days of hesitation, the Russian’camp has announced that they have turned down the offer for Beterbiev to face Chilemba on March 14 according toJournal de Montreal.

“We decided to go in another direction. He will fight rather in our gala April 4, at the next defence of Adonis Stevenson. We are looking for a prestigious opponent for this duel,” Beterbiev, promoter Yvon Michel said.

Michel suggested that Chilemba was not a good opponent for Beterbiev.

“Both have workouts together over the last few weeks and I was told that Isaac had not been able to do more than two rounds with Artur”, said Michel.

His reach is 73..... 5'11
Stevenson is 77..... 5'11

Kovalev is 72...... 6'0

One thing of note I'd like to say. Stevenson can fight going backwards, Kovalev can't.

Cloud and Campillo were both shop worn as fukk though. Solid wins for a prospect, but nothing to go crazy about.

GGG is just in a division where he can't get any name fighters so they just doing whatever they can to stay active which is cool.

One thing of note I'd like to say. Stevenson can fight going backwards, Kovalev can't.

That first straight left (which Stevenson kind of throws with an upward angle) crashing into Kovalev jaw will be and tell tale for the rest of their fight. I think Stevenson sparks him to the body first, because Kovalev only knows forward. His jab/power jab is also too slow to not get countered, unless superman is hurt.

The debut of the Premier Boxing Champions series on CBS was not much of a draw.

Coverage of the PBC on CBS earned a 1.1 overnight rating Saturday afternoon, down 15% from the network’s most recent boxing telecast — a special edition of Showtime Boxing that aired in December 2012 (1.3). The 2012 special was the only boxing telecast on CBS between 1997 and this weekend.

The 1.1 overnight is less than half of what NBC earned for the inaugural PBC telecast in March (2.5). With that said, it tops the 0.9 overnight NBC averaged for afternoon boxing telecasts from 2012-14.

Despite the low numbers, the PBC on CBS topped Sunday’s NHL coverage on NBC (0.9).
