you probably cannot even go a full day without coming across at least one superman reference, he is that much of an icon and that much apart of our cultural tapestry. he is the closest thing american mythology has to a religious savior.

yea batman is more "popular" now but that's because he's been in the limelight more than superman has been these past few years. in reality though they are not even competing in the same race. superman is an entirely different bracket. in fact batman is really just the world's most popular variation of superman.

IF you wanna get into who's more iconic or an archetype or whatever thats another discussion, but lets be honest, Batman has been more popular, liked, discussed, thought about etc than Superman since like the 80s. And im pretty sure that goes for the rest of the world as much as the US, and its not just people on the internet

The S on the chest is prolly more iconic than anything else superhero wise, but lets be honest, Batman has been more popular, liked, discussed, thought about etc than Superman since like the 80s. And im pretty sure that goes for the rest of the world as much as the US

i think mostly everyone knows who they both are, but for the sake of debate which group do you think has more people.
