Coates' comic book/super-hero stuff has been hit and miss with me but the dude is legit talented and as long as Abrams isn't directing I have no complaints about his involvement either.

I think it can do well but the weakness is he's originally a white dude. Many people hate pandering even if it is pandering to their demographic.
But if it's a good movie I agree it has a lot of potential.
