The ending fight was trash honestly. :unimpressed: But that epilogue was beautiful, mayne. :mjcry:
The final shot of Supes vs Lex and Supes dodging Doomsday's hit were dope, but the Doomsday ending was botched. He gets hit with a hammer then just signals, "I'm done fighting.. let me go" :francis:

I wish Lex suit was painted green, but I like how his data inside the helmet were purple and green

The ending part was dope, they did do a good job at that but I still don't get how he was able to live 32 more years where when he first got the heart, he was already getting older and weaker lol I'm just gonna ignore it tho.. maybe he kept makin trips to the sun :yeshrug:

He wasn't deteriorating to dust he just eventually became a normal man with a heart that he got when it was damn near 60...

I wonder within the 32 years how long did it take for his powers to fully fade

I think that ending was as best as they could get tho for closing it out

Honestly...I'm not sure any CW/DC show has stuck the landing like this. It kinda shows that dragging these shows so far past their primes does it no favors.

I haven’t started yet is this season worth the watch? When they announced the final season it just felt like they bailed on this show out of nowhere

I know I’ve said it before but WB has been ran by idiots that contradict themselves:

You can have a Flash series and have him appear in JL and his own movie.. even go as far as to have the film and TV versions crossover..

But you can’t have a Superman series going on at the same time as the movie (this I totally get but all the other contradictions don’t make it make sense still)..

Even though you had a CW Superman while Henry Cavill was movie Superman…

And Batman and Wonder Woman are top priority as they can’t appear on TV unless they’re animated..

But you can have Bruce Wayne be on Titans and a Flash crossover episode…

And because your fanbase is “stupid,” you couldn’t allow The Batman cartoon to use Ra’s Al Ghul or Scarecrow because you didn’t want to confuse the most likely older audience going to see Batman Begins..

Which lead to no Batman supporting cast being able to appear in JLU…

But you can use a Batman silhouette on Titans and sort of have him appear on Gotham
Quoted for emphasis

I enjoyed it and thought they made the most out of a last minute cancelation and budget cuts. Can't honestly rank it amongst the seasons because I bailed during the first just due to time and never made it back. Just about every fight scene/action sequence was better than it had any business being on the CW.

What's your opinion on the endings of Smallville, Arrow or Flash? Flash was my shyt the first few seasons before it just became a repeat of a new person usin the speed force shyt

I never watched full seasons of Smallville. I'm interested in it now though

Smallville always had him suiting up as the ace in the hole, but overall besides the Darkseid cloud it was decent. Can't say any season was outright bad either. Sure they milked the monster of the week formula but they were first in that space. They fumbled Doomsday pretty bad tho.
Arrow was decent but a victim of went on too long. As a cb reader I always had a small issue of them shoving a Batman series in a Green Arrow shaped box but whatevz they had some really good seasons.
Flash completely fumbled the finale in addition to going on too long. None of the other shows have such a disparity between the highs and lows.

Arrow was basically Batman Begins rehashed into a TV series using another DC hero

I've probably only seen like 3 episodes of Smallville... whatever episode Lex was at the Fortress, the finale with the cloud and maybe 1 more

It was definitely a product of the times. Not sure how a first time watch in 2024/2025 would hit. I haven't even revisited it since tbh.
