They squeezed what they could into the finale.

Looking at how they got 10 episodes and a smaller budget, kudos to the showrunners. They did good and him getting a dog was a nice touch

The Doomsday fight ending was anticlimactic IMO but it is what it is.. it’s a CW finale stuck within the 40 min limitation of wrapping the story up
