The actual metrics says otherwise. I like MoS but it didn’t do what WB needed it to do

85% of the board liked it. We can talk about box office, It did over $600M on memory. That wasn't "bad" considering they had just attempted a Superman movie before that. It was good enough for WB to give the keys to Snyder initially.

Nowadays, movies would kill for $600M+

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Bruh I just don’t understand the fascination with keeping Batman grounded. His whole concept is the opposite lol
It's hard as fukk to pull off. Really, every live action batman we've ever seen, has been somewhat grounded. And extremely grounded if we're comparing what he does in comics/cartoons. He's a normal ass human brehs. Battling gods and shyt. And beating them all. As long as he has enough time to think about how. And you have to sell that to audiences not only with the plot,. but with the visuals.

That's why even in his most recent film, with all the latest tech, they had to have him struggle to beat one jobber. It's much easier to have him fight other street level characters. That's why his most known adversaries are street level dudes

If Gunn pulls off a comic cannon Batman in live action, he'd be the first and the best

Even with normal people they don’t really show him having good hand to hand fights except for BvS. They can just do tech villains that way they don’t have to ground them. Him being a team up movie will be a hard sell because he will look out of place
