Myself and my own.
I'm willing to give this a try. I actually like the bright colors. It reminds me of Suicide Squad in some ways which is no surprise. I do think Superman as Clark comes across as an autist but I'm guessing that is by design. Lex seems like a spastic autist as well but at least, it jives well with what the character is supposed to be. It really does remind me of Morrison's All-Star Superman so that's interesting. There's no point in whining about it at this point. I also like the addition of Krypto. It shows the direction they want to take this.

Personally, I just hope, from top to bottom, they get Mr. Terrific correct. That was my only point of contention here. Mr. Terrific should look more imposing and even scary. This one seems "meh".

Reeves standing 10 toes:wow:

Reeves probably feels the same way I've always felt. Batman represents a clash of tones with the rest of the DC universe

Batman, at its absolute best, is gritty detective stories about lunatics with action elements. Think Raymond Chandler novels with fight scenes and costumes. This is the reason The Batman being a Se7en ripoff works so well. Batman and Gordon trying to figure out psychopaths before they keep doing psychopath shyt.

The Nolan movies only dabble in the detective work elements, they're mostly action movies. And Dark Knight is still GOAT, but The Batman is arguably more faithful to the original mythos of Batman stories than any other live action iteration

When you stick to the true core and tone of Batman, he absolutely clashes with the more fantastical elements of other DC characters. And the fact that the most revered Batman stories(Killing Joke, Long Halloween etc) don't have other DC heroes should say it all
Maybe so.

For me personally, I prefer Batman to be like how he was during the Bronze Age of comics (1970s to mid 1980s). Basically, a James Bond-type figure. That's Batman at his best to me :manny:

Bro you smoked this. When you really get into Bruce/Wayne. The moment HE realizes he's psychotic. Then he gets in so deep the only human part of him is his parents death which actually fuels him and drives him mad oh btw dude is a whole creep also a ninja and rich as FUKK. Reeves almost went there but I need to see more to confirm lol. Linking with DC there's no chance of seeing that
