For the ppl complaining about the cameos and shyt(hawkgirl etc) or the weird monsters. That's the point of the world. Superheros and shyt are already a known thing and established in this world. If they already established, you gonna need random monsters/villains that they fight. IIRC Superman is bringing a change to what the world thinks a superhero is. I imagine a bunch of the other supes are on bullshyt, not trying to be role models, treating ppl as disposable. In walks Superman wanting to change that and get rid of "that" type of hero.

Yep. Superman, and the best DC heroes, always represent something bigger than themselves. They are hated because they are 'perfect', not knowing that their early years of crime fighting and overcoming near impossible odds in order to be better, while being inexperienced and somewhat naive of the horrors of the world. They have the idealism of showing humanity a better way, even when it is not popular.

In today's world, people HATE striving for greatness outside of finances and they HATE leaving their comfort zones. That's why they relate to Marvel and being complacent with their flaws and never trying to improve from them. Geoff Johnson did not do shyt on superman because Jim Lee was there and it had no boom.

I lived and was in comic book school to know the difference between Jim Lee boom and a lack of a boom. To know the distinct difference.
Those titles are only known to hardcore dc outlier readership.

There is no superman issue of rego continuity that drew. Even after reboots.

I'm personally very happy by the cameos ain't nobody trying to see him fumbling and bumbling around the Daily Planet while watching someone else's take on Christopher Reeve's character for the 35,000 time. Everyone and their mother knows this man's origin story.

people keep mentioning kingdom come but i don't know if that story fits

gunn mentioned using All Star Superman and I think that and the golden age of heroes is how the story goes. In All-Star, Clark gives Lois a serum that gives her kryptonian powers for 24 hours and the story involves Dr. Leo Quintum (dude who cloned superman). I think its possible that Gunn flips the story that involves using that same serum and The Engineer to create someone strong enough to kill Superman (maybe the dude in black fighting in the trailer)

Guy has also been known to be a dikk, and Hawkgirl looks very young in this film. I agree that this could be a new age of heroes that hasn't fully established themselves in society, but it seems more like a situation where Hawkgirl could easily be in her Year One on earth and Guy probably fights criminals alone and doesn't use the corps.

Seen much have you? It wouldn’t take much to surpass Cavill who didn’t really do much as Superman besides punch things and frown. Granted Corenswet could stand to be in better shape but he can always accomplish that in the sequel.

We already seen a superman not be built get the part and it was trash.
We already seen elseworld superman with Kevin spacey. Why are we supposed to be so hype.
to see a parody of superman. That looks like the Nicholas cage Burton superman with a red cape and blue outfit and wonky nontraditional wack superman logo. Just missing a giant spider. With a jew fro swapped out for long hair. Complete with snickerdoodle trash krypto.

They really better make this good because I am not digging the James Gunn parody meets Shane black relaunched predator and gi Joe feel of this trailer or casting. Did I mention Lois ugly ass fukk too

Why are we gonna watch superman save this ug-lass bytch. When the last movie.....we at least got to understand. That red berry haired Lois cared for supes to bring them together. To explain just why he was that way about Lois.
