Remember when Batman would recruit 12 year old boys to be "Robins"?

Why are y'all acting like things can't become outdated?



Superman is the most powerful person in universe that's the damn difference



In the Justice League cartoon he was always "Superman" from what I remember.

In Man of Steel he was't a reporter for the movie



By the end of Man of Steel Lois and The Government knew who he was.

Everyone in universe should know Clark Kent IS superman.

Yeah and from both an author and reader's point of view, the most powerful man in the world with no connections to the people he's protecting IS BORING story telling. It's also pretty shallow to think that the most powerful person in the universe doesn't want some friends or to be loved or to keep the people he loves out of the bull's eye every time he interacts with them. Maybe he wants to go to McDonald's or to a night club and just hang. I don't understand why this is so hard for you to grasp. Even if you think the Clark Kent identity is useless, someone living in the body of Superman would definitely see the appeal of having another identity to slip into.

Kryptonite is a vulnerability, but if you REALLY want to disable superman, it is lois lane. its been proven in almost every iteration. You downplay lois and basically you have a loveless superhero with all powers and no weaknesses...i'm bored already

You arent bored of that old gag where "Let me just kidnap Supermans love interest,that will bend him to my will".

And its even more stupid becauase half the time people dont ever find out his secret identity. They just happen to know he saves Lois Lane alot. You about to make me sound like im cosigning @Jazzy B lol.


I like to think kidnapping any random child or person would be a weakness for Superman.

I think what your saying is part of why the character is boring. Just because hes good,i wouldnt mind them showing him struggle with whether he should pimp his image as Superman to make more money for Clark. Maybe he would have a better shot at Lois


Part of my issue with MOS was that Lois was all his punk ass seemed to care about. Her being his only weakness did not work in that movies favor. We get it already you love Lois.


And yes i do think Lois is important,my only complaint is how important they seem to think the character is. Like most heros love interest,shes needed to show his struggle between juggling time as a super hero and being able to find love and happiness in his normal life.

How can you say thats not boring when this is the dynamic in almost every superhero movie with the love interest. Stop reducing Superman to simping Hollywood. I can think of at least 5 other weaknesses an overpowered alien should/could have smh.

I hope this movie does well because if the DC Verse gets going, that's going to force MARVEL to compete.
