No offense, but shut the fukk up. You're not even a year into Coli posting, have no #Ring juice etc. and are telling people they don't know shyt because they don't follow the smaller divisions. I first saw him fight SOsa? or Viloria? Dude is/was pretty good however, must people even hardcores on this board don't follow 118 and under.

Onto Roman. Since he moved up he's received three pumpkin faces, a razor close fight with Cuadras, another one with KS who was basically living in his gym, and catching food outside of it, and finally got the 808's last night. It's understandable for people to think, based on his last few outings, this dude was P4p#1? Now if you've been watching him since Estrada in 2k12, your opinion would be different. But fact is, dude came 'out of nowhere' high onto the P4P list and most either, hadn't seen him or don't mess with the smaller divisions. We see him getting the triple G push, put on his card etc. and 3 of the 4 times he got his snot box rocked? I think you need to take a more careful, less emotional approach when you post. Gain up some Ring clout, hit the OG thread all that, before you start telling people their boxing opinion ain't shyt, because they don't watch the smaller weights.

Also, his style is very fan friendly as a come forward guy with fundamentals and power, just like Triple G, he was bound to run into someone who could take his punch, and give it back stronger.

BTW @Newzz are you still gonna fight Cuadras, coming off a loss?

I don't disagree with much of this, I did go a bit overboard with that comment.

The thing is, it gets pretty irritating seeing people dismiss the dude's resume while at the same time profess that they don't follow lower weight classes. :mindblown:

You could feel and hear the heaviness of his shots. I know he doesn't feel well
If you watch the KO punch, the follow through on that right hook was BRUTAL, perfectly timed and hand turned over just upon impact. Great KO punch. Would have knocked Roman cold with that other KD or not.

Just becuz dude is new on here it doesn't mean his opinion is any less valid. Boxing fans are so hateful. Dude just loss. Let's have some respect here. Chocolatito was already a p4p talent before casuals first watched him on HBO. Moving up a 4th weight class and winning a title there at 46-0 solidified his #1 status. I was shocked to see my bro @Newzz on Twitter right after the fight shytting on Choco and saying he was never p4p1. He cited the move from 112 to 115 as not being enough to justify his decline.

So I'm only gonna say this once to all the ppl on here who never boxed or had to cut weight or add weight- weight classes matter. And if you're saying moving from 112 to 115 shouldn't matter, I have to question if you know shyt about boxing cuz first of all, when you're movin up, it's not the weigh in weight you're trying to adjust to, it's the in ring weight you have to adjust to. You're fighting guys who are bigger on fight night that guys you faced before. And last night Sor rehydrated to 127, and had a functional 7 lb weight advantage on Chocolatito.

But I don't think it was solely the bigger weight that affected him. I feel it was his age of 30 (which affects smaller fighter more than bigger ones), all the wars he's been in in the ring, and imo most notably the passing of his trainer. He's had 2 different trainers since that happened. I feel all those factors play a role in his demise. But obviously the biggest factor was Sor Rungvisai himself. Full credit to him must be given to him.

Boxing is our closest sport that reflects real life. In the NFL/MLB/NHL/NBA you either have gigantically tall beasts, who can jump 40", in football you got dudes who are 350lbs of muscle, and can push 700lbs of it. In NHL you have dude's who can go as fast as Usain Bolt (exaggerating a bit) on SKATES, while manipulating a puck, finally baseball you got dudes hitting something going 95+ MPH, enough said.

However in boxing, we see boxers, the average American's size (130- up) and even some of the smaller guys you're like :patrice: I think it's very hard for people to get behind a 5'1" dude who most of us could firemans carry for a few miles, despite the fact they can kill us in under 30 seconds. Add all that to the hype machine of HBO, and you have people getting upsetting. Especially when popular beasts like Thurman, Swift(at the time) were getting shaded on the P4P list. Just my take though.

I just re-watch the fight, something was up with Gonzalez, fight was over before the first bell rang, he was shook. I also think since he moved up, he's been re-hydrating too high. His face has recently started looking puffy before all his fights.

I didn't think he was p4p #1 but he's still a helluva fighter imo. Had blood entertaining fights. But the King had his number :wow:
He helped bring attention to these lower weights and as people have seen tonight people have been sleeping on these guys

I think if you look at the content of my post, and my previous one, it may have started out harsh..........but you know as well as I do that #TheRing is a community :yeshrug: I think it would get many people, on or offline, hot if you told em you don't know shyt about boxing because you haven't follow a mini-weight fighters career. I invited dude to join the OG thread, and broke down why I said what I thought.

honestly if Chocolatito boxes the man, he can win this with minimal problems...dude stood in the man's line of fire giving and taking too much punishment..2 fights in a row..if that happens again King Sor stops him

I was so right....i really should have put some money down

Fair enough bro. I feel a person who doesn't think weight classes matter doesn't know shyt about boxing. A person who thinks going from 112 to 115 isn't a big deal doesn't know shyt about boxing. Cuz following that flawed newbie logic, 112-115 is a 3 lb difference. Add one more pound and you get 4lbs. But it's only 1 more extra lb right? So Floyd should've went from 154 to 160 right? I mean it's only 4 lbs right? WRONG.

Like I said in my last post, boxers have to adjust to new in ring weights & not the weigh in weight of their opponents. That's the issue. Last night specifically Sor was 127 and Choco 120 I believe. Aside from the functional 7lb advantage on fight night, Sor and Cuadras (when he fought Choco) were alot bigger on fight night than Arroyo, Viloria and Sosa were on fight night when they fought Choco. And that's a given considering they were in the 112 division.

Hating on the most humble monarch of our time.

No at first it was trolling before this fight now it's not. Was he really consensus number 1.

You miss the look on Chocolatito face when King Sor knocked him with that body shot early in the first fight - no trollin.

@LauderdaleBoss #LongLiveTheKing #LongLiveKingSor :boss:

@LauderdaleBoss @King P @Blondie

Bend the knee and salute the King. We have some room in the #RatPack for those who pay their respects.

even in the first fight sor was smiling when getting hit like he wanted to eat some more :damn:

:ohlawd: The chin

I'm not saying Sor ain't got heavy hands....but that power is all calves....pause.

I know he had to do Muay Thai or kickboxing.....

No Tua, Sor was ripped to shreds last night. His calves are the size of bowling balls.

Sor Rungvisai came from a very poor family in Sisaket Province in Thailand, and he had to move into Bangkok to escape from poverty when he was only 13 years old. When he arrived in Bangkok, he had to walk more than 60 miles by foot to apply for a job as a trash collector at a department store in order to feed himself. Life was so difficult for him that he sometimes had to eat leftovers he collected from the garbage just to survive.

Hate on King Sor brehs.

Boxing is pounds and inches...i know most ppl are like not much of a difference going from 105 to 108 to 112 to 115...but there is..esp since you don't know how much weight some of these cats are cutting to make these weights...it could be the top fighters across the board in a division are cutting mad weight..i always use Vic darchinyan as an example...he was elite and a killer at 112 and 115...when he went up to 118 he was competitive but not elite..122 he was ordinary and flawed..126 he became a punching bag and got finished..choc is in a bad position because going down in weight or staying at 115 will prolly damage him some more esp if he doesn't change his style of fighting
