I don't like either but here are the policies I like:
Medicare for all.
Legalize drugs or at minimum weed.
Cancel Student debt and make college free.
Shift the tax burden to the rich elite and huge corporations and off middle class workers.

Most of those are things Biden's donors aren't gonna go for.

Trump wins, he's going to stack the courts with judges that will prevent any of the above from happening for the next 30 years no matter how any elections go.

If you think sitting at home is somehow going to help any of that stuff happen, that's on you, but I don't think reality bears that out at all.

LOL @ this. I like Bernie and I like progressive ideas but you need to accept that down south democrats are more moderate than the coasts.. they weren't "told" who to vote for, they also voted for Hillary. They like moderates.
but everyone else hated hillary. they should have taken that into consideration.

I don't like Biden but I'm not going to watch Trump stack the remainder of our courts and destroy whats left of our government.
Trump has actual supporters. Maybe about 30% of the general population actually likes and supports him. They are motivated to vote for him. From there if he can get a decent chunk of the Republicans to fall in like (Spoiler he can) he will win.

You said it yourself you don't even like Biden. Most people aren't gonna take time out of their day and stand in a line to vote for somebody they don't even like. Especially when he's basically pushing the status quo. They will just disengage.

If Biden is your only hope to stop Trump then it's a lost cause already.

I still haven't seen such a wasted opportunity and a downfall as this dude. Dude went from a liberal favorite and darling to a registered sex offender with a felony record. Dumbest dude ever.

Dude also had a pretty good looking wife.
You can probably blame him for Comey the week before the election to. lol

I’m not one who is counting on the Latino vote to stay as blue in the first place. Trump got 30%, some of them are white or can hide in whiteness (Bill Richardson types), immigration from corrupt left countries in Latin America...dems gonna “pay” with them in time regardless

Nah. The people in cages thing is the Republican’s modern southern strategy that blocks Latinos for a generation.

They will start taking over the Republican Party within a decade though

That's not it but that's major. You don't think the Supreme Court is important? :gucci:

Also, Trump is literally appointing a whole bunch of unqualified, ultra-conservative judges to LIFETIME positions. Those judges will enforce racial gerrymandering against non-White voters (especially Black voters), will overturn Obamacare and any "Medicare for All" type plan, will roll back environmental protections, will enforce racial ID voting laws (which especially affects poor Black voters), will be very corporate friendly and I could go on.

Why as a "progressive" would you want that to continue? No matter how you feel about Biden. He wouldn't appoint judges like that. The choice is simple :dahell:.
The only people I can imagine that wouldn't take an issue with these judge appointments are people it wouldn't affect.

But these dudes swear they are black. So....

Nah. People do genuinely like Biden though.

No one knew who Kerry was until the election so that’s why the Republicans were able to paint a picture of him.

Hillary had a built in high dislike ratio.

Biden is basically go to ride or die on if the Hunter Biden stuff has nothing else in the tank.
Kerry wasn't in the media, but if you followed politics you knew him.

I'm not getting any of that anyway because the Democrat party's establishment won't let it happen so what's the difference? Until we as voters start voting out all these donor boot lickers nothing changes. That can't happen if we keep compromising on what we want because we're given limited options by the people in power.

You are acting like Joe was not just promising shyt for latino just now during his victory speech. No mention of black folks. Hell what has he promised besides bringing back the Obama years?
When he was doing small town halls in white Iowa, Biden has mentioned that he wants to hire more black teachers because he recognizes that black children have a greater chance of success if they are taught by black teachers. He also said he wants to triple the budget on title 1 schools and use some of that money to raise teacher salaries which would help attract more black teachers.

Uncertain grounds
On one hand, Bernie probably should have invested in more in the south. I also think running more left wing wasn't a good idea. He got endorsements inside SC, he had way better staff... he probably should have been trying to get Clyburn to hold off, offering something.

Unless you can get new people in, winning a Dem primary is hard without institutional or establishment backing.

And Obama's VP being able to snap a finger and get black support is tough

I was saying in here bernie needed to 10x or 20x his spending in south carolina. He was at one point at only 200k

If this was a game of risk..he basically let biden control asia for troop reinforcements instead of taking one territory there

Ridiculously poor strategy
