if bernie is gonna win the 2020 election as a radical change candidate, he should be DECISIVELY winning his own primary

the fact that he isnt speaks volumes :yeshrug:
What radical change is Bernie proposing in reality?

Nothing really. As a matter of fact, most of the Party is riding his coattails on the issues.

The change that the Democrats are afraid of, and why they've very clearly coalesced against him, is their ownership by rich donors and corporate interests.

Bernie is campaigning on a clear platform that is beholden only to voters.

That's the change they don't want to see.

I wouldn't call that radical.

The primaries were always going to be harder to win than the general election. Obama had a tougher time beating Hillary than McCain. The delegate count is virtually tied at Biden's 527 to Sanders 475. The race isn't over, it's pretty much reset. But Sanders has to make some smart, game-changing maneuvering moving forward.

Just watching Bernies interview with Maddow right now it's so plain to see how much smarter Bernie is than Biden. His brain is more calculated and he knows his stuff front and back.
I know she would never grill Biden that hard

But he still handled everything well

Maybe we have different outlooks on the whole ordeal.

Warren's support started drying up after it got nasty with Bernie, before the primaries. By the time primaries rolled around, she was done.

She had enough influence in the party to help elevate some of the friction between Bernie and the party. I feel like there's a small chance that the Democrats might not have felt the need to stop Bernie's momentum if he was building bridges with them.

I dont know breh, but there's alot of soul searching that needs to be done by the progressive base.
warren's base will never go to bernie. It's all rich white women basically, with a couple of rich minorities thrown in.

So Trump flooding the courts with a bunch of racist judges that'll be there for life (and probably strike down any future attempts at universal healthcare) won't effect anybody's life? Ignoring climate change (which is literally an existential threat to human civilization) won't affect anybody? Isolating the US from the rest of the world won't have any long-term effects?

I'm no Biden fan but I really struggle to respect this "I'm going to stay home" shyt that people on the left are always on.

To many people, Biden is a male version of Hillary that is senile and slightly more likeable.

i dont follow....did you just give trump a ton of credit? :skip:
I give credit when due so that other politicians will follow suit because I'm not a Never Trumper aka Dem apologist that pretends to prioritize policies over their agenda...as this early primary result show, all that rhetoric about big pharma, oligarch, wealth gap, and unions was bullshyt

never under estimate the idiocy of the average American voter. Been shooting the selves in the foot for decades. We were fools to think anything would change.
