@ThaGlow what verison of the hadoken do they want u to do is it the mp or hp
or is it lp

That was just an example. But I think an actual example is with Fei Long:

c. lk
c. lp
c. lk
c. lp
Rekka Ken x 3 (not sure if what punch was specified)

A lot of combos I think I can figure out what to press, but to execute it is crazy. One of Ryu's earlier trials that I can't finish is the:

c. mp
c. mp
c. hk

^^^ Ryu was the first character I started trials with, I still can't hit that.

I think I fukked up because the first thing I practiced was FADC into Supers. I got that part down at least.

u should start plinking plinking is a very good tool for combos and links in general

especially for like 1 frame links which is the hardest combos to do in street fighter 4 arcade edition basically p-linking opens the possibility to do hard combos and makes it easier but u still have to get the timing right for links and the execution right for combos but p-linking does it make easier.

basically p linking is whatever has the strongest Priority it works like this

The formula is relatively simple: medium attacks have priority over light attacks, heavy/hard attacks have priority over both, and kicks have priority over punches.

The priority list looks like this:

LP<LK<MP<MK<HP<HK

By exploiting this using plinking you get an extra frame to hit the next move in your combo, which makes the notorious one-frame links entirely possible. There are two reasons to use plinking over attempting to hammer the same button twice within 2/60's of a second. One, it is almost physically impossible to do so. Two, if you tap the same button that rapidly, the game thinks that the button is being held down and ignores the second input. Plinking essentially jars the system by adding another input and allows the system to register the second input of the higher priority command.

Thanks man, I'll try that next time I'm playing.

Also if you got shortcut tips, post 'em. I just learned about 'em this past weekend. Basically some guy had a YT video talking about:

DF > DF + P = DP

I was skeptical at first but when I tried it the DP actually came out. I was shocked. Though it only comes out 80% of the time. I don't know if its a true shortcut or if its just me accidentally hitting DF > D > DF +P while trying to do DF > DF + P.

i don't know of any shortcuts outside of plinking to be honest with u glow

but even with plinking u still got to get the timing down just like if u was doing it with out plinking but plinking does it make easier
