Only problem with superteams is it makes it stupid to be a fan of a team, it makes much more sense to be a fan of a player(s).

There is 0 reason to be a fan of teams, especially if it's a small market. Oh I'm a lifelong Hornets/Bucks/Warriors fan! For what?

So you either happen to be from an area where one of the elite teams are, or you bandwagon and root for a good team that's nowhere near you.

Difference is you're doing a terrible job at being intentionally stupid, comparing marginal at best players to fukking superstars what a idiot. you are willing to go completely out of bounds as well as change goal post in order to defend lebron

Did this dude just call Russy and Harden "marginal at best"???

:comeon: And your supposed to be a thunder fan, but you'll shyt on your own players just to take shots at LeBron....

The only thing kiling the NBA is the lack of players staying in college for more than a year.

Thus you get a bunch of underdeveloped projects who are undersized, underexperienced etc. Some of them fly, but most dont.

They need to make it mandatory 2 years college like footballl

:comeon:

WTH?

College TEACHES players. There's plenty of dude who beast in high school, but have poor fundamentals, poor understanding of the game and only play off athletic ability. A good program will help a player with all of those things and help them become a better player.

You're not gonna tell me a QB in college football doesnt benefit from being a 3-4 year starter :rudy:

It works similarly for basketball. Grant Hill, Ray Allen, Iverson, etc. All these dudes benefitted by going to college.

All of this is nonsense and I have disputed on that other site plenty of times.

You dont know if they would have been worse players in the NBA if they never went to college

That Alabama water must have brain fried, breh.

Lets break this down easily:

Kid goes to college, freshman year he averages 7ppg, soph year 12ppg, junior year he's up to 21ppg and is a better 3pt shooter as well, and he enters the draft.

He's going into the NBA after IMPROVING his SKILLSET every year in college. Are you gonna tell me that if he entered the NBA straight from high school he'd immediately be just as good, and that none of that experience matters? :childplease:

If you go to the right school a good athlete will be taught how to actually play the game of basketball. They will get more one on one time and unlimited access to a gym to improve their game without the risk of being sent home.

Once they reach the pros very few teams are going to teach someone how to play. And if they do, while you are trying to learn the next man is there trying to take your job. Thats why you hear about so many pros actually improving their game in the offseason, because there is little time for it during the season.

Those superteams of the 80s were also helped by the ridiculous old draft system.
Lakers getting Worthy (1982) and the Celtics getting the 1st pick after losing in the finals (1985) :rudy:
