I have noticed once i hit 4.7 it takes a while to find someone since im assuming they trying to match with other people in the same range.
Fought a doc mario that was 4.8 this morning... Whooped my ass

Yea I always get a bad feeling when I face an uncommon character like dr. Mario, sheik or Kirby as an example. Because odds are those players really know what they are doing.

My ZSS is at 4.7 mill atm. Faced a Chrom the other day that had turrets. I plan to work on my Lucario the best I can. his moves are super hard to utilize due to weak hitbox. at least for me.

It’s gotta be higher because I first got my Bowser in elite smash at around 4.5mil on 4/20 then fell back after some losses and had to grind back up to 4.975mil the next week to get to elite status. I think it varies based on the character tho
Any obscure character that high is obviously super skilled but our unfamiliarity with the matchups give them an advantage. The FE characters, Ness/Lucas, and Pichu used to give me headaches but I’ve fought so many that now I’m actually pretty confident with the matchups. fukk around and see a high-level Wii-Fit trainer, Dr Mario, or even Bowser Jr and I’m like
off top. God-forbid I ever play a good Duck Hunt player cuz I ain’t gonna know what attacks to look out for
Nowadays it’s that high-level snake player that gives me problems. Before I got in the 4mil range they were pretty easy for me but my worst ass whooping ever came from a Snake player who zoned me out with projectiles/mines for a 3-0 win and I don’t think I even got him to 60%
Ass-whooping so brutal I almost saved another mans win in my replays because he was that good
@4Eyez has hit me with some nasty Dame Lillard ass sticky bomb game winners too w/ Snake. Don’t even be knowing the shyts there then BOOM there’s that L

I really hate how janky DDD is. but thankfully this DDD was really smug thinking he was slick. Was just trying to practice Richter and looking back, I was doing a lot of silly shyt in this match but it's by far the most hilarious match I've ever been in.

God that Dedede player played so lame and annoying. He would constantly run to the ledge and spam Gordos. Honestly he would probably would have done the same if you were up 3-1 stocks on him lol.

That's how a lot the ones I fight play. It's just this one was actually not as good in other aspects of movement than the others that I've fought. which worked in my favor lol.

I got one of their wireless GameCube controllers for smash back in January and from day one the rubber on the stick was shredding off like crazy. Rode it out until half of it was bald, took the controller apart and flipped the stick around so the balding part was on the other side. I ended up using it until the stick was ground down the plastic base, so I grabbed a wired one as a cheap replacement and noticed that the rubber was much more durable, so i hit up their warranty support online regarding the first one and they sent me a brand new wireless controller within about a couple weeks. Told me to “discard” the OG controller I had but fukk that, that’s the guest controller now
They’ve made modifications to these since release too. On both the wired & wireless models I got at later dates, they lowered the left thumbstick a teeny bit, heightened the C stick, and probably most importantly for smash, the triggers click in sooner so you don’t have to press down as far. Looks like they used a harder, more durable rubber for the sticks too. Feels great for smash in every aspect

I tried out Duck Hunt for a bit, but he has issues knocking anyone mid-weight off the screen. Roy is probably my secondary. He's insanely good. Still browsing though. Love YLink, but he also has issues taking a stock away sometimes. I have to give adult link an actual try. Slowly learning ZSS. Got a feeling she may do me real good.
I mostly started learning new characters so that they could help me with Snakes harder match-ups, but now I'm just finding a bunch of characters that are more fun to play with overall lol
