Im not saying K rool not good. He is. But he's not broken. He's not even top 10 in the game. Also in a series where heavies are known to be horrible why would u want to nerf one of the heavies that is actually viable??? And even with all that said Snake and Bowser are both better then K Rool.

People got to stop basing their online experience as "Evidence" of a character needing to be nerfed.

Anyone remember early smash 4 days where EVERYONE was saying Bowser was broken??? Fun times lol.

I don't think enough time has passed for ANYONE to be nerfed yet. Were barely a month in. New characters are winning tournaments every weekend(And there are characters with WAYYYYYYYYY better results then K Rool)

I've never hooked up my switch to my TV. Would this be hard to play on handheld?

I wouldn't say "hard", but I'll tell you most people have an easier time playing it docked, especially with a Pro controller or GC controller.

I use peach which is hell of alot more aggravating to play against then k rool so dont worry lol.

When you get matched up with someone with some bullshyt rules (2 stocks/3 minutes, some walkoff or traveling stage), then decline to rematch them and then the matchmaking puts you right back with the same person anyway, using their rules once again :martin:

After settling on the Pro controller as my go-to, I’ve found that mapping the Y button as an extra attack button has been great for my aerial game. I’ve always used X to jump & turned off directional jumping so that Y button was never getting used. I don’t ever press it on the ground as it’s strictly for air attacks. Somehow going from X to Y is like a millisecond faster than from X to A for me, and it feels a little more fluid when you can press an attack button on the same side you’re moving towards

Other than that I’ve got my stick sensitivity on high, LZ/L are both set to grab, but I still run the default block/grab settings on the right side

I’ve read of some people actually using the R button to jump bevause it’s supposedly better for fast combos n shyt but I ain’t even bout to try that shyt and fukk my whole air game up:hubie:

all I did was change Y to be my grab.

I prefer c-stick for smashes for all characters except the Belmonts....but I kind of want to make c-stick for tilts across the board since I can't consistently execute them.

C stick is practically impossible for me on handheld, and I'm trying from time to time on the pro, but tilt is what I've been doing for years now.

My only controller changes are high sensitivity and c stick for tilts.


I think I've settled on my roster:

  • Mains:
  • Palutena - she gives just about everyone trouble I play with. Her reflect is so solid and has awesome options when people try to recover. Explosive Flame :hula: Up smash... one of those is gonna fukk you up if you recover high.
  • Inceneroar: If i'm not playing a zoning character I can fukk nikkas up with him. Grab game is super solid. His counter scares people and his side B is godly once you get the timing. His recovery sucks but it's not too bad.

  • Secondaries:
  • Ken: I love this dude but he's so hard to control and you need to do the inputs to get the best out of him. But I love him for pressure and his shoryuken is a killer so folks just can't jump in all willy nilly.
  • Robin: I need to put more time in with him but his toolkit is unique and powerful. You can basically chase people off the ledge with no regard because of his recovery.
  • Isabelle: My troll character but I like to break her out when folks don't expect it. Once I get used to her fast fall timing it's a wrap.
