Yeah, we discussed this back on sohh. Basically, the N64 version introduced Computer Assistance to the series so you couldn't lap people/etc. Unless that person was beyond terrible that iz
And anyone who likes the N64 version better.. well, I just explained why
They probably just suck at games, and had more enjoyment because they felt they had a chance.
If you wasn't using Donkey Kong or Bowser, you couldn't compete once everyone became experts.

The N64 version was so bad, I lost interest in the series completely until the Wii version/motion controls :whew:
I bet the Wii-U version will be fun, but the Wii-U is a dead console walking. I might not ever play a new MarioKart brehs :to:

I love this game :to:

I liked how items weren't OP in this game. You had items and randomness, but you still had to know what you were doing. The game never went out of it's way to screw over the best players just so the :flabbynsick: players wouldn't get their feelings hurt :comeon:

Lightweights weren't >>>>>>>>>> like in 64 :obama:

The racing just felt way faster, and it felt like the game did a lot more to reward skill and time investment :win:
And the shortcuts :wow:
