Well Bucky brooks was the first person I heard mention that in todays nfl with the rookie pay scale it’s probably best to cycle out qbs every 3 or 4 years before you have to pay them a big deal
I know this doesn’t exactly fit the bears but I wouldn’t be shocked if this happened, I just hope people know they putting all they chips on the Bryce young bet and if fields becomes an all pro somewhere else they will be getting fired immediately, everybody Coach’s and front office, ole girl might even sell the team

But that requires a level of analysis, and honesty from a lot of individuals in the organization

Honestly I don’t like it cause qbs are an extremely risky gamble, especially when you have to commit capital to draft a qb for the first or second pick
If it’s not working out move on but don’t spend multiple first round picks for a college qb

The biggest hurdle is are you being honest, half the draft process is ego, i think i can take (qb here) and make him great despite his limitations or the personnel we have

Well plenty coaches and gms done got fired with that logic so we going to see what the bears do

Rumors are that plenty of candidates are falling back this cycle because they are all waiting for the chargers job to open up after the next season. The feeling is if Staley doesn’t win a playoff game next year(highly likely) he’s out
