Speak for yourself. I was hyped for this game knowing what Rocksteady was capable of since 09 with Batman.
Oh the difference a day makes. A year ago people were outright shytting on Gotham Knights because it wasn't an Arkham level game. People were bigging up Squad based solely on it being Rocksteady but everything after the Kevin Conroy tribute has turned people off.
Before I found out this was gonna be another Fortnite yada yada, I was excited. Then things just spiralled out of control form there. What hurts me is that they could have told us what the game really was a year ago to control expectations. But this is the route they went and these are the repercussions they have to face.

The premise to begin with is just dumb, they gave themselves a mountain of a problem to work with. Suicide Squad up against the Justice League with the gloves off doesn't even begin make sense. Every last SS member is toast from jump with the power sets/levels involved. The character abilities don't even begin to match up. So you'd have to be very, very creative with the storytelling to put two vastly differently-tiered groups on equal footing...basically depower the JL or temorarily power up the SS. A major Macguffin, basically, to even try to make it in any way plausible.
But we don't need no stinkin' creativity! The suits said "well hell, just make them all able to fly and give 'em all guns! They'll think that's the coolest thing ever!"...
And then they want to slap the finest Sherwin Williams coat of mtx/GaaS over it all?

Man, all I'm saying is...if Superman/Flash/WW/Green Lantern/The Martian/Batman are all coming at you with malicious intent, you need several Batman/Darkseid/Metron level plans. Not jump boosters and guns.

This is what I’ve been saying, it doesn’t make sense.
A murderous intentioned batman alone would body the suicide squad, and be home in time for breakfast. It doesn’t work
What’s the storyline reason anyways that they’re using to put them on par with the JL?

You gotta think, superheroes are only weakened by their morality. Its why villains can be career criminals and psychopaths cause batman doesn’t body these nikkas. He should be putting them in the morgue instead of the asylum.
Superman’s biggest weakness isn’t kryptonite its being a big p*ssy raised by Mormons.
Batman, superman, flash, lantern, Wonder Woman, are all VASTLY stronger than their rogues gallery, the biggest challenge for them is apprehending them without killing them, thats it, and they sitll manage to do it 100’s of times becuase they are just that much more powerful or smarter than their villains.
Take off the restraints and earth is the safest place on the planet. If you litter superman is gonna throw you into the sun

Some of you brehs need to stop. With that “a character can’t get a game because his/her is too op” talk. When there’s plenty of video game characters. In lore that are op af. Rocksteady should’ve stayed with their Super Man game smh.

Talk is big by people who don’t actually have to make these games but developers ain’t rushing to give us AAA superman and flash games for a reason. Why would suicide squad be a better option? Because its easier, they just made it a shooter.
