I like it but hated the ending and "humor" they tried to throw in it left and right. Plus, never got to see Joker be psychotic and fukked up really...

And let's have the villains do horrible/questionable things that give them that status instead of them just repeating they're villains to the audience for the whole movie.

That annoyed me about the last one. They kept saying "they're the worst of the worst" but none of them were really villains.

Deadshot was just a single father wanting to get away with his daughter. He didn't seem like a killer that wanted to die.

Diablo was just a gangbanger who wanted to be left alone.

Harley was just a crazy chick.

Boomerang was probably the only one that acted like a villain but the most villainous thing he did was betray his partner before getting caught by The Flash.

Last one made a ton of money so whether it was well liked or not this is no surprise.

Yup. The money alone meant it was getting a sequel. I too found the movie completely unwatchable.

I enjoyed it when I saw it in the theater but when I watched it again back in December when I bought the blu ray I was like

When I watched the ultimate cut of BVS it went from I liked to a movie I loved.


When I watch the ss extended cut it went from a movie I thought was okay to a movie I didn't like..


People can blame the studio but at the end of the day I think SS falls on David Ayer. He's always been hit or miss and he just missed on this one. There's some good stuff in there,and I liked the characters but the film itself is just messy.

BVS should have been the ultimate cut in theatres and that falls on WB.

But there's no reason SS2 can't be good.

I thought Ayer was the right guy especially after the first teaser trailer and there is some great imagery in Suicide Squad but the dialogue is lacking. It's not just the editing that was choppy, it was the script too. That's on him. I was watching Training Day the other night and I've seen the movie a hundred times, the dialogue was terrible in some parts, saved the movie, he brought an Oscar worthy performance to a mediocre script

6 weeks isn't a lot of time for a blockbuster filmI admit this movie disappointed me though and not sure what will happen with this sequel.

It won for best make up and costume design.


The soundtrack also got nominated for grammys and went platinum. On top of it making 745 million.

Anybody saying the sequel wasn't asked for or asking why are they making this is either being deliberately obtuse or just an idiot.
