yeah this was known for most of us in our mid to late 30's and beyond. He was down with the crew, but basically was the money guy when he got on. He financed the set, and that precise crew of like 6 guys. He didn't get jumped in when he was 10 or whatever.

you can't really be in the streets and a college ball player and going to UNLV and working a job. but his heart was always in the gang life. He just wasn't on that street level in his teens and early 20's

If his football career panned out that might not have been the case. Seems like he was trying to avoid that life but decided to become a bully since he had no other skills.

This.

A lot of street nikkas will do anything for money. Real offical street nikkas was backing Tekashi for God's sake.

If you paying them, they don't respect you as no real street nikka. But they'll do it for the money. They really don't be caring like that. Eventually if they be around you for years, and you don't mistreat them, they'll gain a liking to you, but still, that respect as a gangster will never happen.

And that don't even mean Suge was p*ssy, from all accounts he wasn't. He just wasn't no super banged out Blood dude until he got money.

The San Diego chargers D-line would tell you otherwise :mjlol:

very good point. but also went back to where he felt the most accepted maybe or had the most to prove. My Suge history is rusty, but didn't he undermine himself with his own bad temper and violence? So, there's that too. He sabotaged himself and then did it again. and actually did it three times, when he ran over Terry Carter.

Yeah, I don't think he would've made it in football because he's a psycho and would've gotten in trouble but he wasn't a good enough player.

Mob James told this story on Vlad but Suge was at a club and some players from the Chargers were there. One of them starts getting at Suge calling him p*ssy, a bytch, etc. Suge leaves to go get Mob James and the gang. They pull up and seen how brolic they were and wanted zero smoke. They were still calling Suge p*ssy the whole time. He didn't do anything when he realized they were bigger bullies than him.

That probably looked like when Mr Biggs bought his old ass homies to fight R Kelly in the "Contagious" video:francis:

And this man really said

"For the money Suge was paying us,we coulda got jobs"

Who the hell was stopping you:gucci:? Meanwhile you in a whole gang ready to throw your life away, probably for free. Because if they was getting bread like that in the streets,I doubt they spend they time being on call for Suge. Then complained about Suge putting them all in a house because it was Suges house.

"We wanted our own house!"

Good thing about these interviews is the youth get to see how embarrassing they will look in 40 years. Sadly most think it will never be them:francis:

Cali gang culture is the weirdest (other cities caught up though in the drill era).

As a kid we thought mob piru was some big money street gang. But they turned out like Old School from Don't be a Menace. I was the toughest kid on the playground type stuff.

If you're making big money on the streets, I can understand murdering to protect or further what you have. But doing all that dirt just for the sake of it is :francis: .

Flicks used to be a personal thing. You will have to raid someone's grandma old photo book to find some pics of some of the big time guys.
You ain’t lying

And to this day I’ve only found 3 and 2 of em are blurry as fukk

Vast majority of big money guys aren't killers. Big money guys who do kill are generally killing over some perceived slight, lack of respect, or greed...

Most killing happens at the lower levels. It's not in your interest to get caught up in a bunch of violence when you're making a lot of money. Violence is free but if you start, and/or engage in, a real beef/war, that shyt costs money...

Again just to first person this, and I'm not calling myself a heavyweight, but the more money I made the less violence I was around and the less prone I was to violence...

That would make them killers:comeon:. Stop glorifying the "higher ranking" guys. A slight, lack of respect and greed are the same reasons everybody else killing. Only difference is they have their money and moved out the way. While leaving the "lower level" people in the warzone confronted with the daily mess and drama. And if your a high ranking gang member still in the hood, Chances are you already did your killing on the front end. Now people are scared to tell you "no". So little by little you gain members who will crash out and kill on your behalf, Based on them having the idea you will kill them if they decline due to your reputation. The choice kill or be killed, its basically one big nasty Ponzi scheme. The money setup is the same too, where mainly only those at the top eating. But having people to do your dirty work doesnt mean you arent a killer. Not having much conflict because people are afraid you will kill them, doesnt make you not a killer:martin:

Bruh you're glorifying these dudes, not me. I don't have the energy to explain nuances of the streets to you again 😂...
