Snoop never was elite. He had one of the best flows and deliveries, which got worse with time, but Snoop was still dope. And even if he was an elite MC, the albums he released after 1996 were better than Doggystyle. Besides, you are still wrong because at first you were saying he was carried by The Neptunes.
:russ:Not when it comes Snoop's performance. You said it yourself. Snoop reached his peak at the beginning of his career. The rest is a slow descent into 'midness'.

I'm not wrong. Most of the songs people remember from Snoop from that era were Neptnes tracks.

Yes, you are wrong. My point was he was never elite as an MC. Your whole premise was The Neptunes carried Snoop. I provided songs not produced by The Neptunes, that were not only huge hits for Snoop, but also the best of his career. From the era that Snoop worked with the Neptunes, these were memorable: "Drop It Like It's Hot", "Let's Get Blown", "Beautiful", and "Signs". Songs not produced by The Neptunes that were just as memorable, "Sexual Eruption", "I Wanna Love You", "Lay Low", "G'd Up" are not produced by The Neptunes.

Like I tell everyone

Suge should have been the Jerry Buss of Death Row… u had Magic, Kareem, Worthy, with dre, snoop and pac and had young talent with the dog pound, jewell, rbx, rage , had the help with other west coast artist in warren g, nate, dj quik

But nikka was nothing but Donald Sterling and the Clippers with his bad management

Sexual eruption is not a rap song. Gd Up is not a Snoop song. I've already talked about the Last Meal.

After the Last Meal, most big song by Snoop are carried.

The principal players in all of the Death Row drama are now 50 and over and/or dead.

I'd respect Suge more if he admitted he killed the golden goose with his stupidity and arrogance.

Dre and Snoop are living legends enjoying the fruits of their labor while Pac has been dead for over 25 years and Suge is most likely dying in jail

Suge is the jealous one

Pac was wild, unstable and unpredictable. Which got him shot, locked up and killed in just some months. Doesn’t take away from him being a good guy. Suge a low life dirtbag, who has for the past 25 years being showing it more and more.

Like dude is in jail cause he was trying to go and bully Dre and Snoop at like 60 years old.

Death row failed cause Suge strong armed Dre and lost his franchise player and is really a trash business man that got carried by a goat rapper and a goat producer, who also specializes in building labels and brands.
Exactly. Some of these clown are hypocrites with their energy toward Suge. They have all this hate toward Puff who's also a piece of shyt but not nearly the same for Suge. Suge had Big killed, fuked his artists out of the money they should've made, didn't protect Pac like he should've, ran Dre & Snoop off the label, & ran his company into the dirt

Definitely jealous of him but everybody was. I mean now we in 2023 with all these unheard of tales of people claiming they had diss records. Funny...they were scared as a motherfukker to put those out in 1996. Any of em. Mobb Deep, Puffy, Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, Lil Kim, etc.

Mobb Deep had a Pac dis record on their album.

Nas went at him face to face and they squashed it.

Thinking everyone was scared of Tupac is a lie.

Yup.

Folks gotta take advantage of all we know about Death Row now. It was wild over there but Suge took care of EVERYONE. all of those artists in the pre-Pac days who weren’t making $ for the company spent money like Doggystyle had their name on it. Everyone lived either in the same housing complex that DR paid for or were in hotels living it up. Danny Boy and Jewell admitted it.

I’m sure everyone was hyped and pissed at the same time when Pac arrived because it’s like Kobe signing to your team but now y’all better come to the gym at 5am every day and workout before regular practice.

You had a bunch of non Dre/Daz/Quik/Johnny J producers over there and no one was using them — but Pac did. Like I said before, they saw what Warren did and that should’ve been the cue because that was like 2 years before Pac arrived.

If I got a Death Row co-sign I’m using it. Find a lane instead of waiting to be assigned one because you could save Def Jam, like Warren did.
Sam Sneed tried to do everything you mentioned and look how they did him.

Blasphemy! Everyone on LA LA retaliated against a song that wasn't even about them. Biggie went at them live on radio when they came to NY on some "peace" shyt.

Pac was a emotional diva...

Lady of Rage stood up to Pac though.

He brought his baggage to DR and expected everyone to fight his battles

At the end of the day, Pac was a puppet for Suge.

Death Row already had baggage, that label was not survive past 10 years with or without Pac, because of the fukkery and gang affiliations.

And who cares if Lady of Rage "stood up to Pac", she called herself a gangsta she's not a toddler.

Right!!!! nikkas act like Pac was a complex and misunderstood Incredible Hulk make a wish foundation kid
