4 title reigns, most days as champion in the history of the belt, longest title reign ever, and approaching most title defenses. And he's 30. It's just fatiguing at this point. What else is there for him to do as champion besides run through the roster for the 3rd time? People turned on John Cena, CM Punk, Nigel McGuinness, and tuned out on Jay Lethal when they had reigns like this.

I'm fine with super long title reigns on the correct people (didn't mind Punk or Nigel that much, and I don't watch ROH anymore so no judgment on Lethal) but they built Naito and Omega up just to Rainmaker them into secondary belts after they couldn't get the job done without cheating or beating him during the most grueling part of the NJPW schedule. I just wanted more belt flipping and beat downs on Red Shoes.
