Let's be honest, the only reason anyone listened to J Hood is because he was v associated with DBlock. That affiliation ended and hip hop moved on.

Math knowing J Hood was gonna be on should have either asked Styles on the pod where they stood now or privately mentioned that J was gonna be on the show... Anyone with integrity would have done that :hubie:

And no I'm not gonna watch the J Hood interview :camby:

Nah thats not fair. J-Hood is dead nice. And he's from the 914. All the LOX cats got years on him 2 so it was dope 2 see him being embraced. J-Hood could stand on his own no doubt.

Why hasn't he in the last decade then? :comeon:

I can't call it; but this thread is based in history anyway....so is that even relevant? My limited knowledge of the music game can allow me to make the assumption that the circumstances that occurred with d-block could have been a factor in his musical decline :manny:

A decline? Dude had a 20 year decline? In 20 years, he couldn’t get his shyt together as a grown damn man
:comeon:

Dude averaged 250 views on his channel until he mentioned Styles P

I would not blame styles p if they put a 60k bag on his head and did a jump out on that man since he wants the clout so bad-

:wow:

What’s Math going to do when he runs out of recycled beefs to recite on repeat on his channel? Then he had the audacity to plug his wack ass rhyme at the beginning - people didn’t buy that ish 20 yrs ago when he went lamestream the first time 😭that’s why he’s a YouTuber talking with miserable m’fers in the spotlight that he never had.

If there’s no doubt, then why didn’t he?
I agreed with Mecca when he was saying we never know why dudes don't take off or producce enough music. Yeah in some cases it's a record label dropping the ball but other times it's an artist ego, an artist being lazy or unfocused or having no work ethic. Artists always claim they were blackballed after they leave a situation . A black ball didn't stop many artists from getting themselves hot on mixtapes or getting themselves a buzz back. Why didn't J-Hood do that?

Damn they really talking about this dblock shyt from years ago smh.
As far as the 60k that’s going to be one of those three sides to a story situation.

J-Hood wild out dragging the chain then trying to run behind 50 when he was beefing with dblock during that time when shyt was about to get serious. That right there made him look like a sucker and ruined any chances of people taking him seriously at that time.
He is talking like the 60k story made people just side with the Lox. No that was a point in rap when we all feel for the street politics and he looked like a sucker for that. Hell even Beanie Segiel tried that when he was beefing with Jayz

I have alot to say about this topic in general but this always stands out to me..... Jimmy, Juelz, and Remy all got up with 50 too when they was having issues with Cam and Fat Joe.... nobody ever treated any of the other rappers who were "disloyal" they way they treated J Hood. How come the rest of them didn't look like suckers?

The Chinese guy who embarrassed himself on American idol got a fukking album out on koch :dead:

D-Block and Byrdgang records running the same schemes:skip:

J Hood said himself ... even Freeky Zeeky had an album out... Cam set up all his dipset members lovely... whether they blew or not is another story but he had them nikkas out there. LoX really did bad business. We still waiting on Tales From The Hood

I would listen to the album if it was released. I can't believe that they haven't squashed whatever issues they had over the years. Would have been cool if they could have brought him out at that Versuz with Dipset.
