The I in Team
so amare still hasnt started running..any hope i had of him even being an effective 15-20 minute a game player are about over. hes trying hard and still has some gas left to contribute, but his knees just wont let him.

At the end of the day that's why Phoenix would never sign him past 3 years. They were well aware of his knees lifespan and so were we. He's already past the shelf life of his microfracture surgery too. If we get 10 minutes a game from him I look at it as a godsend. Most we can hope for (unrealisticly) is him retiring :manny:

Woodson needs to stop with that 2 guard lineup already. And JR is not a fukking starter.

If by that you mean you like him better coming off the bench as instant offense, I can see your point. But if his dumb ass was healthy I think he deserves a shot at starting.

Shump should be the starting 2 guard hands down. I only want to see that 2 pg lineup rarely this season. Shump flourishes in his natural position. I would have no problem with JR starting, but we need his instant offense off the bench.

I think this lineup makes the most sense. Tim Jr or Beno will probably get more minutes at the backup 2 until JR gets back. And I think Kmart will be playing a lot of the 5 this yr for reason.

JR has to be frustrated knowing that the better he plays, the more he will be relied upon as that 6th man off of the bench.

Unless he reaches Superstar level he will never be a starter because that Instant Offense off the bench is such a great weapon.

I would like to see JR start, and he deserves it, but we need that spark off of the bench that no other player on the squad can provide. The comfort and less amount of pressure can also be used to his advantage if he is able to keep the right perspective about his role. That said, JR is more talented than many starters in the league.

Its not who starts, its who finishes though.

Pretty much . Idk how we still having this debate about jr being starter quality when you look around the league, but he's too valuable off the bench

With his off court antics, his hiding the impending surgery till after he was signed, his on court antics and mediocre play being a big reason why we didn't beat Indiana in last years playoffs...

He should be honored to still be coming off the bench as 6th man. :stopitslime:

By the way: Who are yall most excited to see play tonight?

I'm really looking for THard to show his potential.
