Looks like all 20 camps spots are filled. This is what we're going with. Gonna be some good competition in camp.

@Trip and @obarth

I kinda understand y'all both. In one way, I see what @Trip means not wanting to fukk with the Dolan bullshyt (which is confirmed through more than just NYDailyNews or just Howard Beck or just Frank Isola) because it feels illogical to root for a model that you've seen create so much disaster where your hope should be. Fans want their owners/GMs to make smart choices in favor of winning because...that's the ultimate feeling of gratification...when your team gets to the top, and you can bask in it because of all those years you spent rooting for them and they just couldn't do it. AKA them Jordan years when Pat was :noah: and we ALL rooted for him because he had the HEART to win but just got caught up against the best.

I also see what @obarth is saying though, because I don't want my Knicks rooting to be just about preparing myself for inevitable misery either. That's some real schadenfraude/masochistic shyt that doesn't invest in the kinds of hope and faith that makes it fun to not know the outcome, to wonder if your team will do well given the parts assembled. We are all here for the same reason. We love the Knicks...and not like you'd love a girlfriend or even a good restaurant...things that can be left after a bad night/decision.

We love the Knicks like family. When Z-Bo was a Knick, he was turrible. Just turrible. I went to those games at the Garden though and rooted my lungs out for him. Crawford and Marbury too. I knew they were built Losers in the NBA sense, but that's MY team. So whenever I say these things about Melo, it's more from years of built up frustration seeing a family member strung out on drugs, stealing my mama TV but still wanting them to be right enough for Christmas so we can break bread.

Let's beat the Heat this year though, breh. Andrea Bargnani for Comeback Player Of The Year. Iman Shumper for 1st Team All-NBA (under Ron's tutelage). Melo for MVP. THJ for 1st Team All Rookie. Blue and orange til I die.

I'm not even mad about the surgery :manny: We knew what we were possibly getting into when we signed him. The procedure was probably to clean out debris in his knee. It's just sad that we'll probably never see dude at an all-star level again.
