When Wade is out, Bosh doesn't get more shots but Lj does. Lj is a ball hog. He does this all the time. Like in game 5 of the ECF when he took 26 shots and gave Bosh and Wade 15 to share.
He averaged 20 fga's per game to Wade's 13 and Bosh's 9 in that series.
It's not ok to take 33 shots in a game just to be 'Melo (no, literally) when Bosh is playing alongside you. He looks for his shot first and he even said as much. He's only hesitant if he thinks he can't make the shot, which is usually over double-teams. That's why he does take tough shots at times but not much because he can't make them consistently. I've been watching Lj for the longest and he is a dunker and layup guy. Of Lj's made shots this year, 67% of them come from within 8 feet. That means only one third of his shots are on the perimeter. He shoots a pathetic 32.1% from 15-19 feet and look at this shot chart of him. Lj is one of the main culprits on the defensive end for that team because he is one of the worst defenders in the game. He is a defensive liability and always has been.
I 've always said that one of the things i hate the most about Coli members is that you all only talk in extremes. Someone is either the BEST or the WORST. Never anything in between. But to see LBJ mentioned here is ... man forget it.
