dude how long is the window for melo as a centre piece of a championship team ................. i would say 4 yr window.........now who is walking through that window next year? the truth is the knicks wasted carmelo by not planning properly......the concept of letting him walk and rebuilding should be thoroughly examined is all i am saying ..............and please dont mistake i think melo is the only player who showed up this season

Melo had a terrrrible game last night- no excusesBut he has done more than his fair share of carrying the team this season.

Melo is the only thing on the Knicks worth a damn.

The knicks making the playoffs would be great but shyt the Knicks are a flawed roster. No way should fans get pissed If they don't make it. Right now that team is overachieving and running into playoffs team. The Knicks are just not going to win all of these games. There is no reason to overreact.

That was literally Melo's only bad game on the knicks.

He was awful against Miami in their second meeting because of bogus foul trouble. He had 6 or 7 turnovers but shot well eventually. He was awful against the Thunder in their second meeting because of bogus foul trouble. That said, he has very few bad games. He's an unbelievable player.

Dog, his athleticism is waning by the day and he's only getting to be more susceptible to injury as he ages. Do you really want him taking up 40% of the cap?

he's one of the best scorers in the league. he has at least 3 more years of putting up 26+ppg and he doesn't get injured that often.

in your mind who are the knicks going to pick up that's better than melo?

JR Smith is ass. Deal with it.

you're wildin. i definitely have a love/hate relationship with JR but he's our second most dependable offensive threat. and although his shot selection isn't always great he's one of the few knicks who can consistently put up buckets. jr was the reason the knicks were even competitive in the wizards game. plus he tries hard on defense and he's improving as a passer.

Exactly melo is great and all but it's not all on him we are not ready. It's time to break up. We need to rebuild honestly and truthfully . Like a solid 2 yr project. And no I'm not being irrational. We need to stop looking for quick fixes. Let melo walk or trade him for picks. Keep shumpert and Thjr everyone else can be moved. Let start over. At the least in year 2 we should look like the suns.

i love shump and thjr but they are never going to be anywhere as good as melo at any point in their careers.
