I can try to help, but a lot of my money come from being very safe, lucky, cheap, doing without and being at the right place at the right time. I've very observatory. I watch what works. Waiting for a good deal before jumping out there.

The only thing I can really tell you is to not have kids, don't spend a lot of women or traveling or anything that cost amount. No VIP in clubs. Keep a roommate or rent a room out your house. Don't spend a lot on anything if you can avoid. I've only spent 1000$ at one time only on a few occasions besides rent/mortgage.
YIKES!!!!!!

I got kids, like women and going out w hoes..... used to do VIP...

I guess I been fukking up badly, but fukk u need 100k for tho? ? i got money, but i don't really feel like i need it.. I feel like I need to spend it on my kids education and random charities.... and on hoes and on a non profit. .... U say u from the bottom... me too - so I know i could die tomorrow.

To the OP, if you really have that kind of bread on hand, then f#ck what anybody has to say because most people will NEVER have the discipline to accumulate 100k in cash without some form of extraordinary cash flow generator like illegal business or winning some sort of prize. Hell, some won't even reach it in a IRA or 401k account.

If you're not learned on investing, then just keep stacking your bread. Don't invest in things if you don't know how they work. That's how most people got burned with their 401k during this recession...smart dumb types. Drinking Starbucks thinking "I'm part of the 10%" while their money was twerking like a hoodrat on Worldstar. Read up on some investing and go in slow.

Either way, keep that cash piling up :salute:

Peace

That's exactly what scared me into saving. When i lost half of my 401k over night. I knew anything that shaky isn't dependable as I need my retirement to be. Plus I'm a Black male and 1000 miles from my family, I can get fired anytime. I'm paranoid brehs. That's why I don't have kids. I need my money to work for me, but I don't see any safe investment right now. I might drop about 15k on a 150k house in Louisiana and rent it out. Worst case I can live in it?

I hate brag, not really cuz I am Stuntone, but Coli, I'm got a 100k. No credit card debt or student loan debt. :salute: Just car I love, that I bought with almost 1% interest rate.

A project boy from the real bottom (Louisiana) breh. I shared a room with the roaches and the rats for real! I'm proud of this journey. I came a long way. God only knows what might happen in the future, but right now I got it. And I'm still cheap as hell. lol! I did bless everyone in my family with a few bands a few months ago. The smile on their faces. I want to flip that 100k into something, but I don't know what to do.

Having 100k liquid and pretty much debt free, has to put me in the top 10% right? I know that jealous going to make you want to attack me or derail the thread. I know the hate is coming, but I love to stunt baby! It comes with the territory and I actually love it.

And the women bruhs!!! When they get around a really legit dude that's living within his mean, they fall in line like a muthafukka. I don't brag in real life. My life does the talking. When they see how I live, I don't have to say a word. A lot of these successful woman haven't been around someone that really doing good. These women say they're successful with their good jobs and acuras, but when we talk money and finance I look closely into their moneys and debts, I see the aren't that successful. I'm not that successful, bcuz my money isn't working for me right now. I'm working on that.

Seriously I talk a lot sh:t, but the advice I give on thecoli, I really am trying to help people here. I really feel like I know a lot more than most, not because I'm smart, because I study and think harder and longer than most. I don't let emotions, optimism and religion blind me seeing what's really there. I wish everyone well, I love ya'll on here. I've learned a lot on here from a lot of you. Happy Holidays folks!!!

@Stuntone you say u in to shoes and cars, you ever buy something for your car that cost a lot but you loved? and do you buy shoes over $200?

I'm probably going to drop a few hundred on my brakes soon. I've bought about 5 pair of shoes for around 200$. I've sold about 5 pair for over 200$. I bought some Jordans for 115$ two years ago and sold them for 250$ this past summer. You can make money in the DC area on shoes. I've most of my collection and have broken even and keeps the ones I love.
