Stuff like this is why Anthony Edwards will be the face of the league sooner than later.

I think he’s also an Adidas athlete (which will also prevent him from being the face of the league)
D-Rose made Adidas cool again and all the kids wanted to have the knee pads like him and play just like him.

He was that guy for awhile. Reached a level of stardom and likability that Ja nor Giannis have with the Nike machine.

Gotcha so Anthony Edwards needs to be in the discussion of greatest of all time at his position (Shaq, Steph).
yeah...at least to be the face of the league, when there are other current players who are in the discussion of the greatest at their positions still in the league

NUMBER 1 JERSEY IN THE US
AND NUMBER 2 INTERNATIONALLY
MAKES YOU THE FACE OF THE LEAGUE.

I remember vividly the “Rose era” at his peak MVP year he was the face of the league 100%

He was getting Jordan comparisons

People were watching games just to see what he’d do not because they were Bulls fans

Similar to Currys unanimous MVP year

Man used to get crazy love in Asia.

Article from 2018

"Going there [for the first time], it was like [I was] Muhammad Ali," Rose told ESPN before embarking on his recent Adidas promotional tour in China. "It just made me feel great to know that all of this came from being from Chicago. Being a kid from the Midwest, it was amazing that they were even recognizing me."
As recently as 2017, Rose's No. 25 New York Knicks jersey was among the top 10 sellers in China, and he was No. 36 on the ESPN World Fame 100 list earlier this year, largely due to his continuing support from Chinese fans.

He’s really gotta mature on and off the court to maximize his potential. All the goats were mature leaders with control and command of their team. Kobe, LeBron, A.I, Paul Pierce, D Wade, Steph, etc. They’re not complaining about external factors and obstacles, they took accountability of themselves first and lead by example. He is not being a good leader and it shows through his game on the court and with the reporters in interviews. You don’t need to be in the locker room to see it.

Chris Finch ain’t coaching shyt anyways, and they have no point guard. Chris Paul would’ve been a fantastic backcourt mate for AE, but the Wolves done fukked themselves with that front court of Goofber and Randle so it is what it is.

But he does have a point. He’s surrounded by players who can’t shoot from deep. Rudy Gobert is at zero percent, Jaden McDaniels is shooting 32 percent from three, Julius is at 35 percent from three.

This extends to his bench as well.
Naz Reid is at 35 percent from three
Donte Divencezo is at 32 percent from three

The only player on the team who shoots it a high clip is Nickeil Alexander Walker at 44 percent from three (but he plays the same position as Antman).

Minnesota, similar to Denver is a casualty of Bum ass CJ McCollum and the horrific CBA.
