some folks will see an ant and others will see a vermin that goes around unchecked. in life youre going to have to come to the conclusion they dont like you and they never will. im always laughing at blacks who leave gigantic tips after mediocre service to show those servers they got it like that.

As much as racism pisses me off every day, I'm just not seeing it with this topic.
Yes, only seeing blacks doing violent acts can and will warp whites' minds, but there is no conspiracy behind this.

It's just white developers in predominantly white countries making games for predominantly white countries, along with the fact that violence sells like no other in this industry. So seeing minorities doing little else but commit violent acts makes sense, sadly.

Only way to naturally fix this is by having blacks grow in numbers and have a bigger piece of the target demographic pie.

Exactly what ive been saying. I dont see a racial component involved her either. You want black characters then we gotta create our own black game studios and black inspired stories. Eh, not really. Here one could at least be introduced to current events and thought-provoking political or philosophical arguments that they might not otherwise know about. Video games for the most part build purely imaginary environments that have no real impact on the real world.

The media often link Black characters and violence. This is especially true in video games, in which Black male characters are virtually always violent. This research tested the effects of playing a violent game as a Black (vs. White) avatar on racial stereotypes and aggression. In Experiment 1, White participants (N = 126) who played a violent video game as a Black avatar displayed stronger implicit and explicit negative attitudes toward Blacks than did participants who played a violent video game as a White avatar or a nonviolent game as a Black or White avatar. In Experiment 2, White participants (N = 141) who played a violent video game as a Black (vs. White) avatar displayed stronger implicit attitudes linking Blacks to weapons. Implicit attitudes, in turn, related to subsequent aggression. Black violent video game avatars not only make players more aggressive than do White avatars, they also reinforce stereotypes that Blacks are violent.
