Can't stand a full touch screen for everything, not feelin it at all. BMW has completely ruined it, gotta go thru a bunch of menus just to get to stuff like the heated seats or air conditioning. Theres even talks about them making all of these options a subscription if you want specific options

BMW used to have the best system and they got rid of even HVAC controls...and the iDrive buttons in the middle are all "touch" now

If you ever dealt with smartphone or tablet screen repair, you'd have an idea how terrible a whole bunch of screens inside the front of a vehicle would be.
digitizer and/or lcd damage for screens that large would be expensive to replace. backlight issues, dead pixels or the system freezing would be torture as well as dangerous.

they should focus more on voice assistant, custom voice commands and an IVR for you car so drivers don't take their eyes off the road.

these car companies need to stop trying reinvent the wheel and just let CarPlay and whatever the android version is take over
I hate all these infotainment systems they make up
