Above all else its apparent that Stu was a genuinely good guy. Haven't seen a SINGLE bad word uttered about him all day long...and coming from that cesspool in Bristol...thats really saying something. Just felt like I had to post again man

Wow that lets you know how quick life is.
Very true. Prophet Muhammad (Sallalahu Alayhi wa Salaam) said that this life is like a traveler taking a quick break under the shade, and when he gets up, this life is like the quick break under the shade.
Sohh i urge you to practice Islam if you want eternal heaven and not eternal hellfire after death.

Why are we sohh blind to see? Why don't become Muslimeen?
I know It's not the hellfire that you desire! So now is your time to do good (Khair)!

I have so much respect for Stuart Scott. He was so humble about what he did yet he had so much impact. I definitely consider him an influence on my career, because he was all about the work, not about his name. Its crazy how long he has been with ESPN, I was surprised the man wasn't even 50 years old when he crossed the plain from this world onto the next. Dude has been a stalwart of ESPN since the the late 80s and yet he remains so humble. I mean dude had cancer for years and never made a big deal of it. He just kept moving forward. I was lucky enough to meet him at a charity dinner back in 2003 and I was struck at how regular the dude was. We were just talking about hot wings, lol .Again, may he rest in peace and and I wish the best for his family and friends. It not often we get to see a lot of brothas in the highest level of sports media (or media in general for that matter) but he made it look easy.

Stuart Scott you will be missed.
