He absolutely needs to be on the hot seat if the bench is all of his recent guys and it still sucks.

I like booth in general but I think he’s putting way too much stock into his own ability to find guys in the 20s and 30s. It might end up being his downfall.

Yeah, I feel the same way and the zeke contract whoever’s idea that was should be called on the carpet because he never deserved that contract. Dude never gets a damn rebound

Disastrous offseason so far. We’ll see what happens with the TPMLE and maybe a Zeke trade, but I could see going into next years playoffs with only 5 guys you can trust.

Braun's a good defender but the shooting has to improve if they're gonna have him in the starting lineup

I think Braun will be fine as a 5th starter. He’ll be asked to do even less than he was, and is a decent cutter, so he should be enough of a threat that the defense can’t just ignore him.

This bench has a shot at being historically trash tho. They’re relying on 5 of these recent late picks to be regular season playable, and at least 3 to be playoff playable. The odds of that happening are so low.

Calvin bet a year of jokic’s prime on his talent evaluation and if that bet doesn’t hit, he’s gotta go.

KCP is gone. If this doesn’t work Booth has to go. You can’t waste two years of Jokic prime on your vision when the team is built to win now.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
I ain’t trippin just yet.

There seems to be a philosophical disconnect between Malone and Booth. I hope they bridge that and get on the same page so that another year isn’t wasted.

Booth is leaning toward playing the young guys to round out the rest of the rotation after the core four of Jokic, Murray, AG, and MPJ.

Malone seems to rely more on the veteran guys.

Problem with Malone’s approach is he doesn’t always trust the vets on top of having a short leash for the young guys. It works when the personnel is a KCP, Brucie B, or Jeff Green but falters when it’s Reggie Jackson, Zeke, or Justin Holliday. This year showed that he leans too much on his stars when the personnel isn’t just right which gasses them and makes us worse overall come playoff time.

It’ll be interesting to see if they go after a Westbrook. If they do, it tells me Malone isn’t completely bought in to the youth movement. If they don’t, maybe it’s a sign Malone will be more committed to playing the young guys.

Really hoping Watson, Strawther, and Holmes get some consistent opportunities. Praying Braun working on J so he can shoot it with some confidence.

Calvin Booth is a bad gm. This bench is terrible. Denver needs to move on from him. Backup center and guard was always an issue and he is trying to push a youth movement in the middle of Jokic’s window.
